That's funny that your wife who typically does not get excited for new tech except for the AW, however there are a lot of us loosing interest in the AW who typically are excited for the latest and greatest [Apple] tech.

Wonder it that is the norm for the AW??

Ha ha...this is pretty true.

I ordered my 42mm SB Stainless Watch first on 4/10 just 3 minutes after midnight PDT. My wife's 38mm Stainless with Milanese loop was ordered shortly after.

Hers arrived Friday and she can't say enough positive about it - everything about it is 'cool, amazing'. It's really great that she's so excited for it.

However, I have this fear (not deep because I can return) that by the time my watch gets here in 3 more weeks (5/13 - 5/27 window), I may be bored with it.

We shall see.

At least we are now 30 days out. Unless Apple messes up, this number can only get smaller.

I don't know why everyone's so glued to that stupid Deliveries app. It really doesn't know any more than you do.

I'm not depending on it to know more than what I know. But it's a good countdown and notification app.

Decided to sell my Milanese I got Friday, ebay'ed it for the price of the SB Link. Ordered my black Link yesterday.
Says shipment is July :(
I hear things are moving up though. Hope I can get another before July!

I did the same with my SG sport, decided to wait and order the best watch option.
Unfortunately I have to wait till July but did try the SB on at the weekend and its worth the wait

It is faster than checking the Apple Store app though. So there's that at least.

To each their own. I'm just saying I've seen posts where people argue on their delivery based on what the app says which is just silly.

To me, I prefer not to give any third party access to my orders like that. When I see the insta-alert from the bank that the charge hit I'll check my status, since 9/10 times the charge hits before the status updates and then maybe it'll trickle down to the app. All two clicks from the bookmark I have isn't a big deal. Repeatedly checking until then is just an effort in futility.

It is very much futility..... But keeps me sane.

I would agree that it's silly that people arguing their delivery dates based on the app.

I understand the concern about third party access too. But I've been using them for a Looooong time. (Back when they were just an OSX dashboard widget) I've come to find them pretty trustworthy.

I also prefer the black to the gold.

Btw, the order status site came back with no changes for me.
