I have taken 3 links out and this is perfect. Ive noticed when I'm sitting the watch is nice and snug, when I'm walking around it slides down to my hand, but overall its perfect. When I took out 4 links, its was on the tighter side, wouldn't budge at all.

At the same time, I'm so use to wearing leather / sport / flexible bands that ill just have to get use to this. I bought a sport band for when I'm going to be running around playing sports, so link bracelet will be on 75% and sport on 25%. So far sitting at my desk, this thing is one of the nicest links I've worn.

I would love to see photos of your scratched one, and know what caused it. That is what I'm afraid with the SB one. I think the SS will look better with wear than the SB will.

Technically SB is harder to damage cause of DLC. I can't see how someone scratched this watch unless it was a concrete wall

So here we are, June. No updates and my watch stil just says June, as I'm sure many of yours do, too. This is ****ing dumb. I'd expect an update at least, at least July people have an idea.

Your time will come soon.

Also , my watch has dropped 20% in 1.5 hours. While mainly just watching TV hardly interacting with it at all. Hopefully power cycling fixed that. Picked it up at 86% at 56% now :( .

Batteries don't drain the way you think they do

I just haven't seen a watch drain this fast with very little usage yet. I may not know exactly how batteries work, but I've been around enough apple watches to at least know regular vs irregular.

But you can't judge accurwtely what's regar and not based on losing 20% in an hour, because the last 30% might last 10 hours

I mean I've watched 42MM apple watches take far longer to deplete from 80~50 than this one did initially. Just comparing it to my observations of >10 other apple watches. Like I said I hope it was just extra battery from setting up, and pre adjusted brightness (I had it set at max brightness for first 35 minutes). Either way the finish is nice, but I hope it holds up as advertised.

First day this is expected. Out of box mine was 89% and now its 73%. Ive been sitting at my desk. But remember, you just installed all your apps, configured it, all your notifications are coming in, etc.

I expect to know what my realistic battery life is friday. Ill spend all day today once I get home configuring it fully. Then tomorrow ill do some clean up config. After that ill use it for the rest of the week like I expect to use it without constantly updating things on it and syncing my phone to it.

I expect your daily use to give you the realistic battery life AFTER your done playing with it the initial few hours / day.

Any July people seeing any movement other than the 7/7-7/13 estimate? Honestly, I'd be surprised if we don't see them come sooner. I mean, you can go order one right now and you'd get 7/7-7/13 or 7/20-7/27 as your estimate. I'd have a hard time believing that orders placed near April 10th would get shipped at the same time as an order placed on June 1st.

Almost three weeks of daily wear and not a single issue to report. I can get through two days on a single charge and the one time I thought I had scratched it I actually scratched what it touched, which made a mark on the band that was easily removed with a firm wipe of a microfiber cloth. Extremely pleased. Every TAG I've owned has shown some sore of marks after 3 weeks, nada on my SBSS.

How do you find out the seconds part of when it was ordered?

You have to look at the full headers. Though, really, that's just telling you what time the mail was sent/received.

Mine is XX:18:48

Waiting with baited breath!

Mine hit the Apple Store near my home at 10:40a. Have to wait until lunchtime to pick it up now.

Ill update my sig once Im sure they delivered a watch, and not a lump of coal. :)

I went to the Apple store today on my lunch break to see if they actually had any watches in stock and available to purchase. (Since it is now June)

They did not have any in stock. If they had one, I contemplated buying whatever they had and wearing it until mine arrived in the mail and then return it.

They most likely wont get stock until friday. Today's the first day of june, don't expect apple to be able to move anything extra they had to stores yet, especially since most of the orders this weekend were held up because customs / hub issues in China.

Did they put out an official announcement that they were going to stock in store on a certain date? I have only heard execs saying that they want to stock in June..

Oh I definitely agree, and I actually had to return a laptop, so I wasn't only there for that reason, but figured I would ask while I was there. It was kind of funny actually, because Apple employees get 50% off, it appears many of them purchased the SSSB like we did, and they were all getting theirs in the last week. He said his was arriving this week sometime (he suspected), so we commiserated on being in the same boat waiting for the arrival. (while him being out $550 less than I will be) I wonder how many of us are waiting because Apple employees purchased this watch at half price? Haha... not that they don't deserve it, they do work for the company.

Since the Apple Store is an hour away I've never seen or tried Jon an Apple Watch. After putting it on in the UPS parking lot it felt too loose so I took off of work, big mistake. Leave the watch on for a while before you start adjusting it because it will shrink or your wrist will swell. But I think I did was drive an hour to the Apple store and buy a sport band. Best decision ever, it feels like I took off a manacle. While I was waiting to cross the road to the Apple Store, I had my arms resting by my side and damn that watch felt heavy.

The link band is awesome and built like a rock, but if I don't sell it I'll only wear it with dress clothes.

The employee store was not even accessible until XX:10, and then it crashed underload of the people many times. The first order at my local store was xx:14. 6 people got SB SS, only 1 ordered that night, rest of them are waiting until july.

keep in mind preordering requires going to the store for employees. Who wants to go back to work at midnight?

Thanks all. It was fun hanging with you all but my watch just got delivered! Good luck to everyone else!!! :)

Got mine with the EPP and trust me, we are not getting them any faster than the rest of the crowd. The EPP site was congested just the same and went online after the regular site. My confirmation is xx:18. Getting half off only makes it sting a little less when I see a Watch around town.
