I will admit, not checking this thread incessantly is very nice. But i feel bad for you rest and I will peak into this thread and participate when I can. You guys will truly love this thing and even thou I hated the wait, having it on my wrist since 10am cst this morning has been wonderful. I sit here with 17% battery life and sending drawings to my GF whos in the other room lmao.
I hope you guys start seeing movement by wednesday so you have it by friday and dont have to be without it the whole weekend. The amount of fun I could've had with this thing last weekend... But oh well, at least I still got it today and it wasnt delayed.

Hopefully they'll make it to xx:21 in the next wave, so I can have it some time this week or so.
Just wanted to post a quick update on my replacement - the status just changed. It's now due to be delivered sometime next week.

Absolutely gorgeous! As many others have posted, it's difficult to capture in an image (as good as the iPhone camera is). Might have to do a product shot lighting setup with the DSLR, just for the challenge 😉.
I was pleasantly surprised that the band was plenty large enough. I was able to take a link out, and although it might be a tad loose at certain times of the day. Most of the evening, it's been just about perfect. Just for reference, I measured my wrist at 203 mm.
The band feels great. Most of my watches have had link bracelets, so I figured I had a good idea what to expect. I was surprised at how smooth the inside is. Well, the outside is too. A very silky finish. From photos, the brushed finish looked like it would be more matte than it is, but there's still a nice complement to the polished case.
The seamless blend between the display, case, and bracelet, make it seem like it was poured out of some kind of future-T1000-black-liquid-metal and it just took shape around my wrist!
Right now, I have the minimalistic white hands (red second hand) and no complications. It looks like it's just floating in the case. The color saturation of the second hand is much more intense than the attached image.
Edit: took a better shot in daytime, with iPhone HDR. Saturation is truer, but the brightness of the hands still doesn't do the real display justice.

No movement since last Thursday, IIRC. It would indeed be good to see some PFS status changes going on again for this model.

We got as far as the :17's (though there are still :17's that haven't been charged yet) - that will be the start of the next wave. Hopefully everyone has their alerts setup. 🙂
Also not a bad idea to contact your bank/CC company and make sure they don't have one of these silly rules that if the pre-auth and charge are more than 30 days apart, the charge is declined as part of their fraud protection (we've had a few of those).

Wow! We haven't had any weird delays with UPS, then in the last week we've had mechanical failures, Chinese Export Customs holding planes and now extreme weather. Heh. Just as things start to move, Murphy's gotta put his thumb in it. 🙂

Although none of my previous shipments had tracking info form China. So maybe these were some of the delays in things moving to PFS or Shipped, we just didn't see them. 🙂

I wonder why UPS suddenly started giving us better visibility in the tracking?
I wonder if it was instead just be bumped to "front of the line" to be shipped out with the next large batch. If so, your dates at least give us a timeframe.
