Stainless Steel Space Black Shipping Status

Hey friends! This is my very first post!

I am in the U.S. and I ordered my 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel WATCH right around 10am on April 10th. My current ship date is July 7th to the 14th. I could not be more excited! Did anyone else order their watch around the same time? I find it interesting that on Apple.com it says the ship time for that watch is 3-4 weeks but mine still says 5-6 weeks. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?

You'll definitely be getting yours within 3-4 weeks. Apple doesn't update the ranges on the order status reliably, so I wouldn't worry about that part.

Although, that does kinda suck that USA orders haven't even broken 4/10 @ 10am (I'm 4/14, same ship date as you)
 
Well its HERE!!! I'm just staring at the box........fischersd thank you for all your info/posts, this has been an experience.
I'm just going to go sit on the couch and open my new WATCH.
Recap;
Ordered 4/10 @ X6:08, EST with original window of Jul 7-14. Charge/Shipped 06/16 with original delivery for 06/18, then went to early delivery for today, arrived at 02:17 PM EST

Im in NJ, ordered on the 26th of april, but also had a july 7-14, and mine says 5-6 weeks, has since beginning of june :(
lets hope these all start going out soon! Im so over my pebble!

Today between 20:00 and 22:30 (i was in the cinema during this time).
Tracking doesn’t work. Serial number is in the support profile.
How can i get the Production week? There was a website.
Can i trust this website or does it collect data?
 
So is this the option I want to check to pickup at my local hub station?

I'm still trying to fathom why people care about that? (it's the production week of the internal module, not the week of your watch's assembly) :)

Well, you definitely should be - you're an hour after the last charge. We just haven't seen any for the US today.

Still early in the week though - we could still see charges over the next couple of days (not a lot on the weekends - thinking Apple has a deal with the banks to not batch charges on weekends).

I hope I can get charged by Friday. Like you said weekends won't see much movement but I think I'll have by the 26th the latest
 
Waiting in the Apple Store in the east view mall in victor NY. They have a limited selection of watches available for purchase today. Not the SSSB. All online orders are fulfilled before store availability begins. (She said)
They had a 42mm SS link (not space black). Had to let it stay and wait for mine. Uuuugh can't wait for shipment.

No offense. I can't send you a screenshot though. The reason for that is that the order is placed by a friend of mine in the US. I live in Sweden myself so he has ordered it for me. So, I can't give out his info since I don't have access to his cc charges.

He told me that the cc was actually charged yesterday (June 15) so I'm a bit worried that the status hasn't been updated yet...

He did also tell me that he changed the delivery address for the Watch yesterday as well (for his summerplace) but that shouldn't cause Apple to charge him a month in advance should it?

Hey fischersd, yea always stays there for the whole day as mine will ship to Moncton NB, then on to Halifax, flight aware has the info. Usually from mount hope goes to concord Ontario, then back to mount hope, just don't need to put it in tracking, all in one place.

For yours thou, as North, should update for you when it's on the truck tomorrow?

Well, the shipment needs to go to Concord to be broken into regional shipments, then either back to Mount Hope to get back onto a plane or (in my case) onto a truck to go to regional hubs. My regional hub is in Kitchener, from there onto a delivery truck out to here.

Considering I'm supposed to get mine tomorrow, they need to make some progress tonight. :( My original delivery date was Friday, but then they bumped it up to Thursday. Beginning to think they're going to fall back to Friday again. :)

They have all night to get it sorted...and they do work 24/7 - just the Customs guys here don't.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about that guy's order. It just doesn't add up that he'd be getting charged on a 4/22 order date while the rest of the USA orders up until about x8:15 haven't seen any movement. I hope I'm wrong, but I think us USA guys have a ways to go :confused:

It didn't add up. To be charged with the rest of us on the 15th, but still in "processing". Also, if it's a CC, why would the funds be taken "out of his account"? Just doesn't sit right.

I do think that you guys are going to make a lot of progress over the next week (by the 26th). They need to have most of the April/May backlog sorted before launching additional countries, or the additional countries will be having some huge backlogs as well. Something Apple very much wants to avoid.

Man I hope we don't have much longer to wait. We have 2 business days left to get charged and get it all rolling.
 
Yeah, if I were to guess on delivery dates, I'd say:

April orders: Delivered between 6/19 to 6/26
May orders: Delivered between 6/27 to 7/06
June and present orders: 7/06 to 7/13

The fact that you can go order one right now and get the exact same range as most of us have (7/06-7/13) definitely bodes well for us getting ours early. I'd be very, very surprised if us early buyers got ours in the same batch as the people who bought theirs in May or June.
