Yeah, you are definatley right about that. Not sure why Apple chareged the cc almost a month ahead of planed delivery but I'm looking into it. Again, sorry for getting everyone's hope up.
It's not a full charge, it's a pre-auth. They did the same thing for me with AppleCare+ when I ordered, and again when I had to change the card (because the one I originally used expired). They pre-auth'd AC+, and the charge disappeared after 5 days. Changing the address would definitely trigger another pre-auth.

But it was for the full amount for the watch but I guess you are correct that it's the change of address that triggered it. Looking into...

Wow! With France finally having an update (Congrats @dpietro), all countries now have had updates this week!!

...and the US is the only one that hasn't cleared launch day. :confused:

I'm sure that will be rectified over the next several days.

On the plus side, for my fellow Canadians, the 15th batch finally moved from the airport last night, was sorted at Concord and shipped to its next leg in the journey. Looking good for deliveries today!!! :)

Just wanted to post this here and see if anyone else is having the same issue. So watch is officially defective. I thought it was depleting faster this week cause of my Twitter notifications because of e3 but I turned off Twitter notifications Tuesday night and yesterday I saw very high battery drain that was unusual. Today I took it off the charger and it said charge. On my drive just now to work I checked my wrist for a notification and got the dreaded your at 10% please power reserve.

I can't do express replacement so I was wondering if anyone could comment on their standard warranty replacement especially for this model. I'm hoping they have me overnight it back and overnight me another one. So hopefully I get one next week.

Really sad too since I've been enjoying it more and more everyday.
 
I'm located in the U.S., I ordered my watch April 22 and got a "order is processing" email at 3:29:36 pm same day. I'm still waiting for a PFS, haven't been charged yet but I'm hoping it's very soon!!

I appreciate all the updates and screenshots! Definitely keeping my spirits up :)

My apologies. I'm on mobile and that's all hard to see. I don't roam the UK thread because I don't live there. While its exciting for them to have their watches ship it doesn't help me when they gets shipping confirm. But thank you for informing me ☺️

I wonder if we won't see more updates for Germany and France today - appears Apple's on a "clear the EU" push.
 
Absolutely PISSED at UPS right now. Told me two days ago that I have an early delivery for the 18th. Hasn't budged from a town where they're not supposed to have a facility since 5:44am this morning. Both the agent I talked to as well as their supervisor tell me that my package is waiting for group customs clearance at this little town.
Complete *********. Like we haven't been seeing the customs clearance done at Mount Hope for the last two months.
Absolutely losing my **** that I'm working from home to be here for this - now I need to do so again tomorrow.
Think I need to call Apple to let them know.

Edit: I did - gave feedback for them to run up the chain and beat UPS over the head with. The girl I talked to at Apple saw the same info I have on my "MyChoice" that they had all the time in the world to get the watch on a truck this morning and that customs clearance was done at Mount Hope and that it still showed I was scheduled to have an early delivery TODAY!!

GRRRRR!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Hey all! I received my SB SS 42 a week ago and still check here several times a day. Being with y'all for so long I couldn't just abandon all of you still waiting (hey! It's almost over!) and love seeing all of you getting charged and shipping notifications. I wanted to give you all a pleasant update on your new watch' durability regarding the DLC (the sapphire screen I never even worried about).

I've been putting in a stone patio, stone retaining wall, and a rock garden. So of course I've been shoveling gravel and sand, lugging tons of rocks and boulders, and all of the demanding jobs that goes with working on three large projects at once. I originally planned to NOT wear the watch while working of course, but decided if I started to take it off any time there was a chance of a scratch there would be no end. So I decided it was going to go on first thing in the morning and taken off at the end of the day. If it got dinged or scratched, it would have eventually anyway.

As you can imagine, I've scraped it over, across, around, and practically through rock, gravel, and sand. I've hit it on every damn thing I've been working on several times over. And not a scratch that I can detect. I honestly can't understand the posts where people are stating that they didn't do anything at all and now their SB is scratched. I have a hard time believing that now.

Just wanted to give you all some good news on your watch's hardiness for a change. I honestly can't see the slightest scratch after several tortuous days that the watch normally wouldn't be subjected to. I'm sure an obsessive type could put the watch under a special light, turn it this way and that, and complain that they see a mark or micro-scratch, but I can't decern any mark at all. And, if it did (or does) get scratched, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Character and all that.

I'm so happy for ALL of you who are finally about to get your watches!

As for the charges we've seen today, that's crazy that we've gotten to May in some countries. Congrats to you guys who got charged, let's hope Apple keeps it up & we all get ours early ;)

I have always hated UPS, you can never rely on them to get a package anywhere safely or on time. I wish Apple used Fedex. Im sorry @fischersd :(. Hopefully it will clear customs soon!

Heh. It already cleared customs. Yesterday. *sigh* I don't think Canadian Customs would even know where Hanover is - I'm sure the girl lying to me on the phone likely didn't either. It's a town of 7500 people and about 200 miles from the closest US port of entry. And UPS own website says that there's no offices there. :(
