Off-topic, but to lighten the mood a little.

What do ya think of my Sith® Edition Spigen stand? :D

I have a thread in the Accessories forum I gave the play-by-play. The only part you really NEED to repeat would be the self-etching primer to make sure the paint adheres to the aluminum. You could use any paint after that...could use a glossy and skip having to do a coat of clear to make it simpler.

Don't want to de-rail our thread over here, if you have any questions you can ask them over on the accessories thread (so no-one gets pissy in here) :)

What day was the last U.S. Order flipped to PFS? I assume the June 16th day was the actual shipping date

Still early in the week though - we could still see charges over the next couple of days (not a lot on the weekends - thinking Apple has a deal with the banks to not batch charges on weekends).

Well, UPS delivered my watch this evening! This thing is gorgeous! It was well worth the wait. Now, all I've got to do is figure out which watch face I want.......... Decisions, decisions.....
I've enjoyed following this thread from the beginning, through the highs and lows. More than likely, this will be my last post in this thread. Thanks to all who've participated! :)

Looks great, I really wish Apple gave us space black charging cables too though :confused:

By the way, if any of you are looking for a workout band (Besides the regular sport band), I saw a guy make post on reddit about this one on amazon. Looked pretty good to me, & for .99c, it's not even a risk to try it. I am a little worried about working out & getting sweat all over the nice black stainless steel, but I'm assuming that won't be an issue, right?

Well, you can make the cable black (I did).

I'm leery of bands that have an enclosure your watch goes into - if it managed to pop out, it's flying through the air.

Yeah, that's the one thing that I didn't like about it, but I guess I'll see when it comes.

By the way, anyone know if we've ever seen charges happen on thurs, fri, or sat? I don't seem to remember anything happening on those days in the past :(

6/7 Sunday evening charge. It was at the beginning of the wave from XX:17 forward.
 
Interesting set up tip for you soon-to-be SBSS owners:

Make sure your iPhone is connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi when you pair the watch and your iPhone. The watch apparently picks up the WiFi settings from the phone when it pairs, but the watch cannot connect to 5GHz WiFi.

After I paired my watch, I realized it was not connected to my home WiFi. After some web searching, I found the 5GHz restriction on an Apple support page. I put my iPhone on the 2.4GHz network, power cycled the phone and the watch. Unpaired and repaired them. Now I can see the watch in the list of connected devices on my router.

I hope they move more this week. But it feels like they build up some stock to release in big batches. They don't trickle out.

Ordered on April 14th - 7:30am local time - PFS just now.
Initial delivery was July
Went to 2-3 weeks (23rd June - 29th June) on the 5th of June.
Space Black 42mm

And now my watch can almost begin :)

So my watch has shipped! Got an estimated delivery date from ups for Monday the 22nd. Any chance it will get here earlier than that? And do they deliver on weekends at all?

Which country? And I'm pretty sure Monday will be the day for you.

Edit: also what was your original order date and time

I wouldn't get my hopes up about that guy's order. It just doesn't add up that he'd be getting charged on a 4/22 order date while the rest of the USA orders up until about x8:15 haven't seen any movement. I hope I'm wrong, but I think us USA guys have a ways to go :confused:

Yeah, you are definatley right about that. Not sure why Apple chareged the cc almost a month ahead of planed delivery but I'm looking into it. Again, sorry for getting everyone's hope up.
