Dad popped over (was up to speed on the UPS fiasco and knew that I had gotten the watch regardless). Was showing him all of the things that the watch can do (well, that I know so far) as we sat on the porch having a drink enjoying the rain my buddy Derek called, took it on the watch and the three of us had a conversation (the volume could have been better, competing with the rain, but it still worked well).

Syncing a couple playlists with it now. Already paired my Jaybird BlueBuds with it and going to try going for a jog with it tomorrow. (I'm hoping the watch will light a fire under my ass to get back in shape)

So, bottom line here: Was it worth the wait? Given the fact that we could've just gone and got any other model right away, does the space black model look good enough to you that it's worth waiting so long for it?

This watch is beyond legit. Love everything about this watch so far.
However my battery seems to be draining really fast!

Just know that the first few runs you'll need to take your phone with you! (I think it has something to do with the workout app not being native.)

Took my SS watch about 3 charges before it started to last the day. Maybe battery conditioning or something. After that it worked all day.

Congratulations on the watch. I love it too.

However, the link bracelet doesn't fully snap on mine and many others. Have you checked yours yet?

Ah, makes sense. The watch doesn't have GPS built in, so it needs to learn what measurement to associate with your stride. Thanks for the tip - would have left the phone at home.

Looks awesome, I've always loved that modular + red face on the SB watch.

As for the battery, I wouldn't worry about that. You're probably using the hell out of that thing since it's new lol.

Seven days today, I love mine. The battery seems to get better each day. 13.5 hours now with moderate use (Siri a couple of times, directions once, notifications) and it is at 70%. When I went to bed last night it was at 51% (17 hour day).

Got some potentially good news here:

If you check apple's site, our watches are down to 2-3 weeks if you order one right now.

2 weeks from now is July 2nd. So, if current orders would be fufilled by then, then this pretty much guarantees that we're getting ours early. I'm thinking april orders will be caught up by next week, and may+june orders will be caught up by 7/2

Yep. I still think they're trying to have all of April/May filled by next Friday (second wave countries day).

I really wonder how much stock of the other watches they've built up. Some people are saying a lot of the stores are sold out already. Heh. If they can't even keep the wave 1 stores stocked, imagine what a ******** it'll be when the wave 2 countries start ordering. Good problem to have, but I think some of the exec's at Apple may start losing some sleep. Well, or get fired. (they should have engaged Foxconn by now to get these churned out quicker).

Mine has now shipped but it's giving me the "items need to be merged". Isn't applecare a digital item?

i also have two Tracking numbers and DHL Express says "two pieces". Ordered nothing else then apple care with the watch. Mine arrived in Cologne by plane 15 minutes ago. Now heading to Düsseldorf and then to me. So nervous. Almost can't sleep.

I get taken to an external link (TNT) but I have had no further updates over the last 36 hours, I thought a few of you gurus may be able to point me in the direction of a plane or some other form of tracking.

Can you show the watch laying flat? Perhaps lay it flat (after unhooking one link) and then stretch out that side and see if that one looks out of kilter.

Just got off the phone with Apple. They are replacing the whole watch.... ARG!! The link appears to be bent. See the two pictures below.
