Please read back through the thread. I was commenting on someone that has posted a lot of negative posts. I was agreeing with another member that the first member was posting A LOT of negative stuff, and that had not been my experience. Please don't jump my a** when you haven't read back through.
I do apologize. I didn't read your post carefully. I'm just getting really tired of the posters who flip out over a couple of complaints. I should be used to it. It's a common forum phenomenon that I've seen for many years.

My order was placed May 9th, and it's showing a 5-6 week time frame

New orders being placed right now show a 2 week time frame.

Come on apple, get it together.

That's interesting that it says "by 2-3 Business Days" for the shipping. A few days ago my shipping said standard and now it says the same! (still crossing my fingers that apple ships my order today or tomorrow!!)

Actually, yeah, they haven't been updating that estimate before you get charged. I think that's actually a good thing - if they were updating the estimate, then they're level-setting you that you still have some waiting to do. :)

Hopefully you (and all the other backlogged orders in the US) will be charged within the next week.

I am on phone with Apple now about an issue with another watch and she said my Space should be in my hands soon. I pressed for more information but she said she did not have it. For reference, mine still says 5-6 weeks as well

Hello all! So I got my watch yesterday as planned and unfortunately I have a mixed opinion.

1st- it's cbt far the best looking Apple watch of all models. Its absolutely flawless!!!

On the software side though, not.so happy for something I paid 1.5k (I'm in Canada). Countless bugs, most features just don't work, like the attached photo saying no exercise when I had been sweating my ass off for over an hour at thr gym.

Apps like Twitter and instagram take forever to load and then crash.
Sirius UI is flawed.
It's infuriating and I would describe it as barely usable in the software's current state!
So I'm a little disappointed. I'm trying to think of it as the most beautiful piece of jewelry. Abd that's it for now. Can't wait for updates!!

What are you talking about? There have been literally 2 people that I'm aware of that have complained on these forums about the DLC on the some of the links on their band. Obviously there were a very, very small number of defects that got through quality control.

Wow, it's amazing how some people see a couple of complaints and then suddenly it's a huge problem.
I know this is the wrong place to post this, but I just noticed the coating is wearing off in the same corner on 5 of the links.....I will be reporting to Apple right away.

Otherwise the watch is awesome.

*Insert blurb on rev1 products here* If you're not an early adopter, you likely should have waited for rev 2 (or at least a few revisions of the software.

As for the exercise app, I used it twice this morning. It worked great. You DID bring up the exercise app and start a workout, not just presume that the watch "knows" when you're working out, right? :)

I haven't done the "personal setup appointment" yet, but several people have said it's a good idea - just need to fit it into my schedule - just to make sure I don't miss anything. Might be good for you to do the same if you haven't.

It's not iOS, which we're all used to. It's a very different interface - it's going to take several days to really feel intuitive.

I'm giving it the return period for me to fall in love with it. I'm already enjoying it and think it's a beautiful piece of hardware, but I, like you, think it should be worth the price we paid for it. I could very well decide it isn't, return it (or sell the SB link bracelet on ebay) and get a cheaper one.

In all fairness, we better hop way past an hour in this round...
I'm with ya there. Honestly though, I'm kinda surprised we're seeing charges on a Thursday. I figured we'd see nothing until monday, and then we'd see a flood. But hey, I'm not complaining :p

Just for kicks I looked and anyone who wants to grab a 42mm SB can get it at the NY Grand Central Apple store. That's the only one listed right now.......

On one hand, that's lame. Early buyers should get theirs before walk-ins. But on the other hand, if they do have stock in stores, maybe they really are close to catching up.

I did a 3 mile walk this morning, granted it took longer than 22 minutes, but when I had my setup appointment he explained that it took several workouts to calibrate.

Sorry, not related to shipping but hopefully will help.
