Stainless Steel Space Black Shipping Status

It'll have to be one of you Americans that haven't received your watches yet that sends the e-mail of indignation to Tim Cook and Jeff Williams. (hope this gets all over the press) Wow. Such a public lie.

So, the two reports are:

Damon2219 - SBSS Order Status #8460 - Annapolis, MD Apple Store
Clix Pix - SBSS Order Status #8490 - NY Grand Central Apple Store

I can't do it (I'm a Canadian and I've already received my watch - yesterday) :)
 
I'm in the US, and I've checked both times when someone said the 42 SS SB was available for reservation, and both times the site said that it wasn't available in store.
If they really were available, maybe the stores had 1 or 2, and when they were reserved, the site (not having any locations with stock) when back to "not available".

I checked a while ago and I did see the option to buy it in store in New York, but it's unavailable right now. It could've just been a glitch, since it seems unlikely that Apple would just stock one store in the entire country.

Either way, I'm really hoping USA orders see movement today, even if it's just one day forward :confused:

Nope, just tried while logged in my account, got the same page that says it's unavailable. I was able to see the new york pickup option earlier, so I think they're sold out now.
 
Apple Tyson's Corner, Georgetown, Pentagon City, and Clarendon all have apple watches in stock.

Well, I guess it is possible you're the only USA order on 4/10 around 9:15AM in this thread. Hopefully we'll see more movement later today though.

Just had a talk with an apple rep, I was curious why new orders said 2-3 weeks while ours say 3-4. He said that the 2-3 weeks refers to when they'll be shipped, and our 3-4 weeks refers to when they'll be delivered. I don't buy that though, since shipping times are like, 2-3 days max. I'm still optimistic that we'll see ours early.

You will see them early. The 2-3 weeks is for new orders. I'm sure yours is the same time frame now also since a few weeks have already gone by. Is your delivery range 7/7 -7/14?

Yea mine didn't update either it still says 7/7-7/14. Although mine hasn't flipped to ship yet I'm expecting it no later than Wednesday

For those playing at home: My package has made it to Sydney (it's now Saturday AM) and will likely be delivered to me at 1pm on Monday, judging by the eerie regularity of the previous three deliveries of spare sports bands and my wife's 38mm SSLB ;)
It's so close! I'll spend the weekend refreshing the transit tracking and bbq-ing on the deck to pass the time :D

So I guess that's it for now, doesn't seem like there are any other charges happening for USA orders. Disappointing :confused:

For those of you who've already received yours, how do you like it so far? What are your first impressions of the apps? Oh, and what do you think of force touch? I've really been looking forward to trying that out.
 
how long does it usually take to flip to Shipped? I went PFS around 10a can't remember. It doesn't seem as if this will actually ship today
