I'll be very surprised to see anything before the end of the month
This is not Foxcon assembling the watches its quanta computer Does Quanta have the resources to ramp up in a short period of time like Foxcon often does I doubt it.

Well my date is the 13th so I don't see why we wouldn't see it then.

From what I have read Apple has contracted with Foxcon to build Apple Watches in a attempt to catch up on backorders.

A Reddit User was able to get some pictures of the Space Black SS with different straps. In case you're interested: http://imgur.com/a/VDZ6Q
The last four photos are reassuring. Many pictures I've seen show the Space Black as gunmetal rather than black, and I prefer black, though I could settle on gunmetal. It seems as though the lighting angle and/or display case diffraction make a huge difference in the hue of the material.

Those pictures make me somewhat sad, I was hoping the watch was more gray than that black. I will likely keep my order unless my space gray ships first but I am now hoping the gray ships first more now than before seeing those pictures. :(

Yes, some of the display models are a completely different color. I was just at an Apple Store today and the space black one in the case is not even close to being black. Some people will try and tell you that it's the lighting in the case, but it's not. Some of the early display models are just a completely different color, like gunmetal.

I can believe that, and I hope you're right. I want the Darth Vader model.

All of the ones that that I've seen in tryout videos seem to be fine. None of the Apple stores near me have one for tryouts.

Isn't that weird?. They couldn't produce enough SSSB watches for the try on?. Where they having problems with the coatings to get the right shade?

I just hope this is not going to be a case like the first white iPhone, which was delayed for months, remember?

Who knows. We may very well never know why they have had no SS Link watches of any kind ready to ship yet.

Funny thing is, I also ordered the white iPhone 4. :). Why does this keep happening?!

I read this too, but unfortunately it's going to take quite a while to get everything in place to do so. Word I heard is Foxcon won't be up and running with building watches until later in the year. Why Apple didn't go with them in the first place is beyond me.
