So I'm guessing we all saw the post about link bracelets preparing for shipping and immediately checked our orders?

I wish the Apple Store App used Touch ID. Tired of entering my password.

We can't be too far behind if link bands are shipping.

Let's be very clear on this, because a lot of people seem to get this wrong:

Link bands (without watch) were on 2-4 weeks.... The Space Black models were 4-6 weeks from the beginning. AND the freaking standalone link bands are NOT Space Black for God's sake.

Clear enough?

I would think so...Especially because the DLC coated bands aren't purchasable as a standalone accessory. You have to think logically that they have saved barebones link bands for the Space Black watch and are working on them.

Id hate to say this but its possible to have a Friday delivery? It is good to see links moving in general but I still think its BS that the accessory is going out before the actual watch. Then again, Apple doesn't count on people communicating with each other about shipment waves so to them they are doing whatever makes sense for them. We don't know how many assembly lines / areas are pumping out link bands.

Got a query for you guys, I was on eBay last night looking for accessories and saw someone had a SS Space Black 42mm for sale with a June delivery window. There was 24 hours left so I decided to watch it and see what it went for.

It ended up selling for £1,222.22 and Apple sell them for £949 here in the UK. So would you guys sell yours for £273.22 ($414.75) profit?

Personally, I'd rather have the watch, what are your thoughts?

Nope.

If you can buy a watch for $1K+, then you do not care about a ≈400$ profit (the amount is questionable if people throw some more on the market anyway). If you want it, you'll want it ASAP. Why else would we pre-order in the middle of the night?

ZPr13st - again, the link bands are a pre-req to our watches. It only makes sense that the accessory ship first (which is also as Nik noted, what was published by Apple in terms of dates). It should give everyone confidence that we'll see PFS to the space black watches shortly.

H3rman - no, not pimping my place in line...for what? To wait more? :)

I suggest nobody get too excited... The extra band I ordered also just went to preparing for shipment and its a black sport band with black pin... it had a delivery window of 4/29-5/12.. for what i see all thats being sent out today are purely bands and nothing more.

I was upset with the delays for the Space Black, but I never really felt to distraught until I saw my wife's Milanese Loop change to "Shipped". It is going to be in my damn face and I don't have one yet.

The fact is, none of the SSSB watches are delayed yet.

Only on the 28th we can start having that conversation. Until then, we are in the window that we agreed upon when placing our orders.

They may not be delayed compared to the disappointing delivery windows given out once pre-ordering went live, but they are delayed compared to the 24 April "launch"...

If people want to vent some more, could we get them to contain it to the "Apple Watch **might** be the biggest Failure to Launch from Apple yet" thread (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1876896/).

I have a May ship date as well for my band with no update. I originally had the 4/29 range for delivery but noticed the morning of 4/10 that I had chosen, in my tired stupor, the 38mm instead of the 42mm hence I ended up near the end of the line.

Interesting thing is even new orders for this band have May delivery.

I think it will look great with the SS Black when I don't want the link.

I got it for working out and biking as i don't think the space black link band will be too comfortable for that LOL

Calm down. You don't have to be a jerk about it. In my mind at least it means there is not a production issue with the links which are clearly a component of our model.

From where?

I don't know if this has been answered before, but where are the watches being shipped from?. Are they sending them directly from China to the customers (like the MacBooks) or they ship from a distribution center in the U.S./Europe?
