My wife and I have orders placed for the 42MM SB at Maxfields in LA, they're supposed to be getting them this week.

Really? Space Black SS with link bracelet?

I know there's no guarantee the manager would really have that info but I'd love a bit of hope after all the white iPhone 4 talk.

Actually, one of the guys in the Maxfields thread has conflicting information:

I can actually give you some real info on Maxfields (phily guy, look away).

My childhood friend works there as a sales person. I walked it today, she took me back, had a 10 min conversation with main manager. They have tons of sport (space gray and otherwise), some 38 mm SS, and no 42 mm SS at the moment. I was told 42 mm ML ~1 week wait, 42 mm classic band about 1 month 42 mm WSB a few days. And absolutely no movement on link bands of either color. So, walked out with 42 mm ML order. Hope she calls me by Friday :)

So, still a crapshoot on when they're coming in (other than the dates Apple have already provided).

Maxfield Space Black

Please post as soon as you receive a call, I come home to BH this week before I start my internship and would love to pick a 42 mm up before I leave on the 15th. It is my birthday present and my pre-order doesn't get here till June.

It might just be entitlement but I think we're at least owed a $20 App Store credit or a free sport band or something if the people who ordered by 12:05 don't have watches by the 15th. Especially if link bracelets go out first. Apple is really slapping the faces of those willing to spend the most money here, and they could lose a ton of money if we all decided to cancel our orders.

I know my hype is fading, and fast. I'm about to cancel and spend the $1200 on PC parts. A little communication from Apple would prevent a ton of people from canceling, but alas they are very stubborn.

That reminds me of this video. A woman went on an insane rant about her experience trying to get a certain candle from Bath and Body works. In this video, the woman's rant is reenacted with flashbacks. Worth the 5 minutes.

Strange that Apple hasn't made a statement. All news and rumors has been the WSJ. Something not right.

There are a few points as to why I want to ask Tim what's going on.
1. Apple implied if you pre ordered, you would receive it on launch date.
Fact is nobody received the sbss on launch day. If they did I would patiently wait my turn.
2. **** the ship dates. Sometime in the month of June for ordering within 5 minutes of the site going live, is not a date. A month cannot be a date.
3. If there was a specific issue or complication with this model on launch day, it would be common courtesy to inform your clients as well as stock holders why it wasn't shipped out. I realize they had haptic issues. I just wish they informed us as to which models were affected. I am waiting regardless along with the rest of yous. Just tell me why the dates started so late.
Not asking for too much. On that note I hope we all receive it earlier then specified.

That's cognitive dissonance for you... you're going to continue to go down that path, we always justify our actions after the fact. Not saying you're wrong, but you've made a decision and your mind doesn't want you to feel bad about it.

Are we still talking about a watch?

Some peeps take the whole ⌚️ journey way to seriously-

Remember to breathe people, surely there are bigger things to worry about.....

Nobody is worried. Just annoyed and probably impatient.

Well, I could say I did... but only by a day, because TimeZones. (Australia)

I've already put together that this slot we're in is the earliest for this model but I'm just trying to get a loose grip on the numbers of people in this slot.

I'm in that slot as well. CA, USA

I also ordered at XX:04 and got the May 12 - May 25 (AUS) timeframe and thought it was a timezone thing - but technically it isn't because we're already in front of USA, which means we get even more earlier.

I.e. many got May 13 - May 26 (and assume it's USA).

May 13 5am (PST-USA) = May 13 10pm (AEST-AUS), that means if it arrives on May 12 10pm (AEST) Australia, it would only be May 12 5am (PST) in the USA.

Hope that makes sense..

Therefore, those in Australia may even get it more than 1 day earlier than those in USA. I have no idea why though :/ Could be cause we're closer to China...

We have some movement on the normal link bands!! Not watches, just the bands, but hopefully the watches will follow shortly

They just saw a regular link bracelet (just the band) switch to PFS status on the regular SS LL thread. Hopefully we see some love with status changes to orders for our SB as well!!

Heh...H3rman beat me while editing...what he said. :)

But he had a 04 May to 15 May shipping window as seen in he screenshot he provided. So his band is already in the time window he was provided. But let's keep our fingers crossed that our beauties will follow shortly

Lately, windows have been short between PFS and SHIPPED. At the very least, it should mean that they're being loaded on a plane in China.

Stainless Steel Space Black Shipping Status

Just read this in another thread. One guy says he was contacted by an apple executive. Wether it's true or not I think it's worth the read:

UPDATE ON CALL WITH EXECUTIVE TEAM

Ok so I just got off the phone with the executive team - they had called me yesterday but I missed the call. They emailed me and we arranged a new call for today.

The orders are being strictly monitored. The system they have in place is certainly doing them in the order that it received them and this has checked. The variations seem to be just simply down to the models that have been ordered.

The spreadsheet has been a very informative tool for them and he assured me several times (I think it was 4 times) during the call that it has been viewed by the highest level at Apple. I am unsure if this means Tim Cook is monitoring it or not but they are certainly watching it!

The way things are going he said that he can't make guarantees but almost all orders will be at the earliest points of the delivery timeframes. So those on the 12th-26th May should expect it towards the START of that timeframe if not earlier!

He explained that this is new territory for Apple and they are working around the clock to get the orders fulfilled in the quickest turnaround possible. They are extremely aware that the delays impact their brand and that they want to fulfil all orders quickly as they know everyone is excited. He confirmed that they have viewed the 'How are you feeling' column on the spreadsheet and it's useful to see how people are feeling during the wait. He also said the information from other sources is also useful like twitter and Facebook.

After that call, I must say Apple are doing what they can. He was very professional and sounded sincere that they are working their asses off to get this all sorted for us. He couldn't give me an update on individual orders but the impression I got was that a lot will be fulfilled this week. The team at the highest level at Apple seem to be learning a lot from this and I do now strongly believe they are doing everything they can.

So whilst I am still super excited and incredibly impatient about getting my Apple Watch... I think I am now relieved that I know there is far more hope of getting my watch this week. Keep it up Apple...Let's hope those orders get sorted asap! haha
