Guys, chill out. I'm sure they are preparing the link watches as we speak. You need to remember that with the bands, once they are made, they just need to be boxed up and shipped off.
For the actual watches they need to enter the main production line, be added to the watches, the watches will need to undergo QC in batches, and then get packed up and shipped off. These extra few steps will be what is causing the delay. Probably only by 2-3 days.
They probably made say 100,000 link bands all at once, but 60,000 of them are just needing to be boxed up. They went through their own QC when they were made. The other 40,000 need the additional steps in the production line then further QC of the entire assembled product. Even though the band has probably already passed a previous QC step at the band manufacturers facility, the entire assembled unit will still need its own QC.
Keep patient for a few more days. Everything they have done up until now has made sense (to me at least) regarding the link bands. They are just trying to be as efficient as possible when it comes to getting out the watch product as a whole, not focussing on individual models.
