Are you aware that there is no delay whatsoever, right?.

Even if all of the preorder watches ship on May 26-27, Apple will be still on time.

The window for shipping these watches was very clear from the beginning. Of course that I would like to see the watch on the 13th, but Apple still has to more weeks to ship this things and keep their promised delivery dates, without any delays.

I know we are all anxious to get our watches, but let's not make a case of a "delay" when it doesn't exist.

+1 No-one should really be getting anxious until the END of the shipping window and there not being a change in status - that would indicate that there was a chance that Apple wouldn't meet their estimate - which hasn't happened yet. All of the 4/24-5/8 crowd (as far as we can see) were fulfilled.

I'm not sure how accurate the Deliveries App is but for my 42 mm SB SS the ship by date changed from June 1st to June 30th this morning.

Were you given a range before??

If you weren't given a range, then your date was still just "June" - and anything otherwise the Deliveries app is saying is incorrect.

What about your order status online?

It's still a ******** cop out on their part to give a two week window for deliveries. They should have just told us May 27th and no one would be as disappointed as they are because they wouldn't feel partially lied to.

And then there would be people bitching that they got their orders WAY early and saying "Why can't Apple plan well - I was on vacation when it showed up?!"

You simply can't please everyone.

Lol what? By your logic, wouldn't it still be partially lying if we received them on the 13th? It's just a lie that you like better?

...but no one would complain about it shipping early. All they did by making it a window was introduce a certain expectation that wouldn't be there otherwise. It was dumb to make it a window instead of a pessimistic estimate to the day at the end of the window. This whole thing is about Apple's failure to manage expectations and in cases like this, making it worse.

The colour of lighting will affect how it looks. My guess, those two pics are different lighting sources. The press loves to cause panic - it sells copy. :)

Doesn't change the fact that Apple changed the picture of the Space Black watch on their website.

On Apple's website it's been saying June since I ordered on pre-order day at 3:19am eastern time. It's still processing.

Ok, so if there's been no change in the status on the Apple site and it's just your Deliveries app that's made the change, then it's a bug in the Deliveries app.

(maybe they did an update and changed it from optimism to pessimism) ;)

Which picture? (link?)

We'd need some proof that it changed as well.

The pic in the store is the same.

Sorry guys. But the Australian Space Black SS would have reported in by now if anyone was getting a watch this week. Looks like we're in it for the long haul. Thanks, Apple.

It's weird my SS LB has a two week window but the extra bands I ordered only have a four day window.

I have not seen a try on model for the space black in person, but I have seen pictures of it and it is JET black just like one the apple website.

I have however seen the display case "Space Black" which looks like a slightly darker shade of the regular link watch as if it has no DLC at all, but rather a darker colored steel.

Im not sure why this is but it is definitely not a lighting issue. Its a totally different watch.

Lol. This has nothing to do with anything. Even if they aren't here Wednesday (in any timezone), that doesn't mean they won't arrive Wednesday or Thursday in another timezone. The problem with every theory posted here is that you can't make a reasonable inference from no data. Other than saying "I wish my watch was here" or "I wish I knew why it wasn't" there is nothing to be said.

Well, the lighting in the display case is considerably different than the rest of the store, so who's to say? All we know is that all of the pics and video that we've seen, the watch body is a nice, glossy black.

Now, maybe if they let you take the try-on out into the sunlight it may look like gun metal? How knows....we'll find out when we get them in real life.

You don't say....

Uh, the expectation that it would arrive in the window? Any other expectation other than that is irrational.

You're kidding right? in the U.S we're still two days from the start of the shipping window. No one should expect their watches to arrive before the window starts, and shouldn't be concerned until the last day of the window. This isn't a matter of Apple failing to manage expectations, it's a matter of people ignoring the clear as day shipping estimates given to them and expecting to get the watch on the 24th of April. There's a real simple solution to this, and it's to stop being ridiculous. Geez...

Yeah, haven't heard anything on Monday, the week is lost.

I got CC charges last week for my band and my wifes sport band on Tuesday and they arrived on Friday. So I would say if people don't have charges by Tuesday or Wednesday nothing is likely coming this week.

I'm glad the word "debatable" was created for times like these. A difference of opinion then. And I'll feel free to continue being disappointed they are probably going to miss the beginning of the window.

The people who are flipping out are the people who due to their time zone and for some reason were given an earlier date than the 13th (should have been the 14th since they are already ahead in time.)

Since it's the opening of their window and the first day is missed for them, the are assuming the worst.

Here in the U.S. it's Monday morning the 11th with plenty of time to spare for updates and possible 13th delivery.

My wife's Watch arrived last Thursday. Had not received a PFS or a charge until Wednesday morning around 5 am. I'm holding out for a Wednesday delivery until Tuesday.

What's everyone's opinion on which sport band color is gonna look best with our Space Black Stainless? I'm ready to snag a band for working out, but torn about what color I should get. I've seen some pictures with the white sport band that look sorta cool. What has everyone else ordered?

Product RED once they release such.
