Are you aware that there is no delay whatsoever, right?.
Even if all of the preorder watches ship on May 26-27, Apple will be still on time.
The window for shipping these watches was very clear from the beginning. Of course that I would like to see the watch on the 13th, but Apple still has to more weeks to ship this things and keep their promised delivery dates, without any delays.
I know we are all anxious to get our watches, but let's not make a case of a "delay" when it doesn't exist.
I'm not sure how accurate the Deliveries App is but for my 42 mm SB SS the ship by date changed from June 1st to June 30th this morning.

It's still a ******** cop out on their part to give a two week window for deliveries. They should have just told us May 27th and no one would be as disappointed as they are because they wouldn't feel partially lied to.

Are you a 38 or 42mm order?
Lol what? By your logic, wouldn't it still be partially lying if we received them on the 13th? It's just a lie that you like better?
The colour of lighting will affect how it looks. My guess, those two pics are different lighting sources. The press loves to cause panic - it sells copy.![]()
+1 No-one should really be getting anxious until the END of the shipping window and there not being a change in status - that would indicate that there was a chance that Apple wouldn't meet their estimate - which hasn't happened yet. All of the 4/24-5/8 crowd (as far as we can see) were fulfilled.

Were you given a range before??
If you weren't given a range, then your date was still just "June" - and anything otherwise the Deliveries app is saying is incorrect.
What about your order status online?
On Apple's website it's been saying June since I ordered on pre-order day at 3:19am eastern time. It's still processing.
Doesn't change the fact that Apple changed the picture of the Space Black watch on their website.
I just dropped my phone taking it out of my pocket to check the time. This watch can't come quickly enough.

Sorry guys. But the Australian Space Black SS would have reported in by now if anyone was getting a watch this week. Looks like we're in it for the long haul. Thanks, Apple.
I have not seen a try on model for the space black in person, but I have seen pictures of it and it is JET black just like one the apple website.
I have however seen the display case "Space Black" which looks like a slightly darker shade of the regular link watch as if it has no DLC at all, but rather a darker colored steel.
Im not sure why this is but it is definitely not a lighting issue. Its a totally different watch.
You don't say.......but no one would complain about it shipping early.
Uh, the expectation that it would arrive in the window? Any other expectation other than that is irrational. All they did by making it a window was introduce a certain expectation that wouldn't be there otherwise.
You're kidding right? in the U.S we're still two days from the start of the shipping window. No one should expect their watches to arrive before the window starts, and shouldn't be concerned until the last day of the window. This isn't a matter of Apple failing to manage expectations, it's a matter of people ignoring the clear as day shipping estimates given to them and expecting to get the watch on the 24th of April. There's a real simple solution to this, and it's to stop being ridiculous. Geez...This whole thing is about Apple's failure to manage expectations and in cases like this, making it worse.
Yeah, haven't heard anything on Monday, the week is lost.Sorry guys. But the Australian Space Black SS would have reported in by now if anyone was getting a watch this week. Looks like we're in it for the long haul. Thanks, Apple.

I got CC charges last week for my band and my wifes sport band on Tuesday and they arrived on Friday. So I would say if people don't have charges by Tuesday or Wednesday nothing is likely coming this week.
What's everyone's opinion on which sport band color is gonna look best with our Space Black Stainless? I'm ready to snag a band for working out, but torn about what color I should get. I've seen some pictures with the white sport band that look sorta cool. What has everyone else ordered?
