As far as I'm concerned, the Apple Watch does not officially launch until we receive the one true version to rule them all, the SS Space Black Link. Everything else is just background noise. Thus, we are not late to the party because the party does not begin until we arrive. Apple understands that we SSSBL buyers are the true diehards and so is going for perfection. Stay focused my friends, our long journey is coming to an end soon.

Best post in this long thread.

With all these SS Links being shipped today with next day air delivery for tomorrow.. I really think the first wave of SB SS Link will see shipments tomorrow with delivery on the 13th. I hope :)

Yep! All links were this way

Then wouldn't common sense say that the first wave of our space black's are very very close?! If Apple thought the DLC process was going to take a lot longer or be a problem they would have pushed our earliest possible date out further. I bet we'll see some movement later today or tomorrow.

Yeah, it's just a matter of what time at this point.

Yes, YES! PREACH! I'm buying what your selling.

Let's give Apple some Exlax or Metamucil and let's see some movement with the SS SB!!!!!

Replace Bueller with "Space Black?"

I envy you guys. I'm still waiting for my vague "June" delivery to change to weeks or even better a date delivery window.

Ditto! Same June with not dates.

Ordered late because the app and website were both down until 12:03am/PT

Confirmed at xx:06:55 shipping to the Los Angeles area. (42mm)

On the flip side, I have a 42mm SG Sport delivering tomorrow. I ordered that too because I didn't know which watch I really wanted. I don't know what I am going to do with it because I don't want it.

Does anyone know what their delivery dates to the early pre-orders? Were they just like the space blacks's (5/13 to 5/27)?

I considered switching to the stainless steel because the shipping date was May 13-27 and the Black was already June. This was at about 3:15am est. I'm glad I stuck with what I really wanted. It will be worth the wait.

It's interesting that the 38 mm I ordered May 3rd has switched from June to 4-6 weeks and gives delivery dates (still in June), but the 42's ordered earlier still haven't.

So it's a safe bet to say that SB SS and regular SS links weren't made until ordered. I wish they would have just said that those particular models would be released in mid May.... It would've eliminated a lot of frustration and speculation.
This thread would not nearly have been this long.

Didn't they do that? Didn't they give mid to late May dates when ordered?
