I think the first Space Black watches will be delivered this Wednesday.

Can not see that happening or we would see credit card charges by now and status changed to shipping.

What make you "think" Wednesday?

Ah yes, and out comes the typical "trolling" accusation!

So predictable. I will come back in a few hours when you may have gathered up some proof of any space black shipments. Tomorrow will be just as good.

You people excite easily:p

Let's end this quarrel once and for all. nhalford predicts that the watches will arrive on Wednesday. Newtons Apple said that won't happen because we haven't been charged yet (Monday). All everyone else was saying is that it would STILL BE POSSIBLE to get watches on Wednesday because they ship overnight and it's HIGHLY feasible and likely that they could charge tomorrow and still ship tomorrow, meaning the watch would arrive on Wednesday.

Saying that it's not possible to get the watch on Wednesday because we haven't been charged today (Monday), isn't entirely accurate.

This has been my only point.

So, we pay a considerable premium. Then why do others - who payed less - get theirs sooner? I think that is an interesting point...

I've been asking myself the same thing. I try not to think about it too much or I just get mad at the people who spent less and got theirs so much faster. Or the celebrities getting theirs not only faster, but for free.

Really the hardware is the same , we chose to pay a premium for the SS AND SPACE BLACk.
Is like when you buy a car, you want the stock there are 100 in the lot , you want premium package drivers assistant package etc etc there are less in the lot or you have to order it.

So C'MON GUYS WE WLL GET OUR WATCHES IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS< THE WORSE IS OVER THE WINDOW OPENS IN 36 HRS>!!!!

This guy, this guy gets it.

Well, It's Tuesday morning here and Sydney Airport has been open for 15mins and all the ex-Asia flights are on their way in.

Hopefully we'll see some kind of movement on the May 12-25 orders today.

In other news... That $1 debit auth' has disappeared from my transactions list.

If it's a preorder it should be overnight.... There's also no option for expedited shipping online.

So if I'm 20/5-28/5 I SHOULD have till the 19th to have the funds available?

I let someone barrow $200 from the money I had set aside for the watch and won't have it back till the 13th.

I'm not sure how accurate the Deliveries App is but for my 42 mm SB SS the ship by date changed from June 1st to June 30th this morning.

Mine did too. But, I think it's just a way for Deliveries App to deal with whole months given as dates. There's no way it has more information than we can get directly on the Apple status page – which still just says "June" for mine.

You're running the risk of the funds not being there. Hard to say when you'll get charged.

Yeah, also if by some miracle you are able to get the watch earlier than date range, they'll charge you. If the charge can't go through however, apple will contact you in someway and put the order on hold (for something like 1 or 2 days)

Me on the same boat! Waiting #

I'm constantly watching PlaneFinder for flights from Shenzen, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shanghai coming into Australia... Passenger and any Cargo flights which might seem out of the ordinary... then waiting for them to land and giving it about 40 minutes and checking my Order (along with the other constant checking of email, bank and order)

Soon, hopefully (as I have said to myself each day for the last month)

How long does applying DLC to a watch take?

From what I've learned about the various DLC processes, I seem to remember it taking around 6 hours, but could be a bit longer depending on what material they start the coating process with. Can't remember off the top of my head what it is, but there's another material they use to setup a good molecular attach point to build the actual DLC on top of. It gives it a "bite" into the stainless steel surface.

Regardless of how long the DLC process is, why are some people assuming that the coating process is starting right now? Just because the full link watches are shipping now, doesn't mean that they can now start the DLC process.

Prepare for charges

As far as I'm concerned, the Apple Watch does not officially launch until we receive the one true version to rule them all, the SS Space Black Link. Everything else is just background noise. Thus, we are not late to the party because the party does not begin until we arrive. Apple understands that we SSSBL buyers are the true diehards and so is going for perfection. Stay focused my friends, our long journey is coming to an end soon.

My only consolation is that my wife ordered the SS with soft pink modern buckle. We're both stuck in processing purgatory together. My friend won't stop rubbing it in that his SS link bracelet model charged and shipped today for delivery tomorrow. Ugh.
