Didn't they do that? Didn't they give mid to late May dates when ordered?
Yes. It never said the 24th.

Been watching myself! Planes have really been coming in today!
I bet our watches are on those four flights to Louisville right now. Does anyone who has tracked the flights know if that makes sense? Have people been getting charged when they land in Anchorage of a second location?
From what I've heard, it needs to go Shenzen>Anchorage for it to have Apple Watches. I don't think all of those flights came from Shenzen.
Someone might know better than I however.

It looked like all of the 42mm SS LB's that shipped today were sourced from Harrisburg, PA - suggesting that they were assembled in the US (all of the launch window watches got a "cleared customs" notification from Anchorage).
Something different going on here...
Ah, that's new to me. Guess there's a chance the normal flight tracking won't work then.
Anyone care to guess how many watches could be loaded on a MD11 Cargo? I know it isn't quite on topic but would help pass the time.

How'd you figure that??
You are assuming the entire MD11 would be filled withWatches?
Although that is an entertaining thought!I don't know the dimensions of the stainless steel Apple watch boxes, but found the cargo dimensions for the UPS MD11 Freighter:
26x 224cm. X 318cm. X 163cm containers in the main compartment
6x 224cm. X 318cm. X 163cm containers in the forward belly compartment
7x 153cm. X 318cm. X 163cm containers in the aft belly compartment
Which should come out to be:
427060326cm³ or 427.0603m³
Feel free to check my math, it has been a long day. Anyone that knows the dimensions of the SS Apple watch boxes, feel free to pitch in.
That's funny, all of mypreorders have come from Harrisburg...
People were saying the first line in their tracking was Harrisburg, PA. (it shouldn't be). On launch day, everyone's first update in UPS was when it cleared customs at Anchorage.
Makes me wonder if they haven't changed things - but I don't know why they'd do any assembly here at all - there's so much more available labour in China.
We're at 50 pages right now. Over/under 70 pages until they start shipping?
Can you pull up the tracking on one of them? Doesn't make a lot of sense for them to go to Harrisburg from Louisville, does it? And shouldn't customs be the first line, when it enters the US UPS system?
Just looking at my iPhone 6's history, it went from some place in Harrisburg to Louisville.... Not sure why as I'm in NYC. When I called and asked about it they said all/most packages go to main distribution center (Louisville), no matter what, even if it doesn't seem efficient to my address specifically.
Let's be honest though, you know y'all cant wait to post pics of this thing on the show off your watch thread...
