Anyone know Target return policy. I called the 1-800 number and they said I can return within 30 days of it being opened. I googled it and some people are saying that they refused because it was open. Is there still a 15% restocking fee? Anyone have a recent experience?

30 days opened or not is their policy...I verified only because I was tempted to return my iPad mini 3 for an Air 2 but didn't. However I did go back to the store as the mini I recently purchased went on sale even lower, the clerk processed the refund at full price then charged me the new mark down price. So you should be good to go. If denied show them the policy or ask to speak to a manager, usually they won't dispute you if you are knowledgeable about their policies.

Thanks I guess it's hit or miss, no telling what you will get, still I think Staples is trying to push their stock, since they are the only ones selling it this low, other retailers are matching their price but no other retailer is selling it this low.

Mine from Staples (Air 2 Space gray 64GB wifi) shows August 2015 build date. Looks like they have a mix of older/newer ones. It's really odd they are selling these this low. These are more like clearance prices!

Remember guys, if you're unhappy about the lack of Bluetooth 4.2, you can always get a swap at an Apple store. Then again, if you have a good screen, that's not worth doing unless you want to play the lottery.

People should look at the benefits of the 4.0 -> 4.2 update before they get too excited about this. It's also completely unclear when Apple implemented the change. It could have been in September, or it could have been back in the early spring of this year.

I had been anxiously awaiting the release of an iPad Air 3 this year and was thoroughly disappointed that Apple did not - even if the only change would have been an A9 chip. I know the Air 2 is still a beast and this deal cemented my decision to upgrade now. The Staples by my house had only 1 64gb model left and it was gold. The wife and I each wanted a space grey one so the associate ordered two of them to be delivered to the store Monday. $300 off 2 iPads - that's an excellent deal! Hoping to get at least 4 years out of it

Thanks for the heads up. I have a Mini 2, which I'm finding I don't use much. I'll probably sell it. I'm ready to go back to the bigger iPad since my next iPhone will be a Plus model, right now I've got a 6. The mini seems redundant with a bigger phone and smaller laptop. The bigger iPad will be a better 3rd device I think. I was gonna grab a Mini 4 but I see that the Air 2 is still faster and has better scores and it was something new.

I just grabbed a 16GB Space Grey from my local store via the pickup option - I'll go pick it up Friday.

I want the 16gb gold and target has them in stock a mile away but I wanted to see if I can use cartwheel, red card, and also price match. Ive never price matched at target and wasn't sure if they needed a paper ad?

EDIT: Just saw the note about the paper ad. They do not. You can download the weekly flier from Staples.com. I just swiped over to the iPad page in the middle of the flier and showed it to guest services.

Thanks! After looking at my options, I went the BB route. I forgot I had a $60 rewards certificate and it was about the same discount from the Target options of 10% and 5% of the red card.

I only need a 16gb as I use it for web services mostly with youtube watching, internet browsing, and book reading.

Got the space gray 16gb one I wanted for $300 which is absolutely a steal! Basically $210 off. Insanely good deals going on here!!

Horrible experience with Staples. Keep getting conflicting responses. I go online and it shows the order is still processing (Since Sunday and it had a delivery date of yesterday mind you), yet it also shows the charges for the items being $0.00, meanwhile my credit card has had a temporary hold of $1,000+ eating up my available credit since Sunday. I get emails telling me the order is cancelled and others assuring me it's just processing still. I call and it's the same story. Wtf? Either cancel my order and rescind the temporary hold or ship the damn thing and update the "processing" status. They are blaming it on a "system glitch." Great, a system glitch that just affects one person, right.

Update: They have no idea what the hell they are doing. The order is cancelled (they say). She was thinking about reordering for me but two are out of stock and I don't have enough credit because of the damn temporary hold from the original order to purchase the one. Oh, the irony that I created this thread and wind up without one lol Can only laugh about it ...

I don't see the Air 2 as an upgrade, merely bigger. I don't see the Mini 4 and Air 2 as cross shopped. If you value the mini form factor, that's what you want.
