But a $350 Watch doesn't really fall into the criteria unless there's a specific need. And as I've stated, if there's justification, then fair enough. For most the Watch is merely a convenience that allows them to leave their iPhone in their pocket but otherwise duplicates all of its features. But that doesn't change the fact that minimum wage works out to about $16,000 a year in most states, which means that Watch costs over 2% of your annual income, after taxes. That's still a lot of money no matter how much you make, but especially if you don't make much.

He's from Canada. Was that not obvious when he said a $350 sport watch? Or the fact it says it under his profile?

Last time I checked Canada isn't "most states". It's not even part of the USA.

Way to make yourself look like a tool.

I see quite of few of them nowadays. Oddly, it's the space gray Sports version. I hardly ever see the SS.

Finally starting to see them in the wild. But all Sport models - not seen a SS yet.

Yeah, I'm always seeing the sport versions as well. I've never seen a SS besides by own, and I've never seen anyone wearing anything other than the sport band.

Funny part is whenever I see someone with anything other than a sport band in public, it's usually a knockoff which they have no problem sharing when asked about it. I've seen a few knockoff Milanese loops in the wild, wouldn't know until they tell you. But I mostly see sport bands.

Girl bought a IP cam off me today and she was wearing a space grey. Buddy just sent me a pic his wife bought him a space gray for their anniversary and another guy I know has one. I'm seeing more and more now that the prices are going down

I've also started seeing them quite a lot where I live (chile). I didn't think I'd see many, but they're pretty common now.

I only got mine a week ago, and really loving it :)

I mentioned earlier in the thread that I've literally seen 3 over the past year out in public. Just this morning I was at an Audi dealership and saw 3 people wearing them. All sport variants.

I'm thinking that when the next generation is released we will see a much higher proportion of SS models. I think a lot of people were testing the first gen waters with the low end version. That's what I did initially, but then eventually sold it and upgraded. Most people won't do that, they'll just wait for the next gen.

I've been seeing watches a lot since the summer, but after Christmas it really really picked up. In the past 3 days I saw 2 Apple Watch Hermes. Both of them surprised me, I just didn't expect to see them. Other than that I pretty much only see people wearing sport bands.

No you haven't ;)
I've seen a good amount of them.

Read back what he wrote. You haven't. Nobody has.

I've noticed quite a few Apple Watches out there in the wild and the Best Buy CS girl I spoke to also wanted to get one.

If y'all would just put down the phone a bit and observe the world around you, I'm sure you'd be surprised. ;)

Not sure I understand why you've quoted me.

My point was simply that a space black sport doesn't exist.

This weekend the deep discounts at Best Buy should stimulate sales of the rather chubby first version. Sell them now, should be the focus. Especially if the rumors of a thin stylish second generation AW are true.

For a narcissistic company so obsessed with thin products, I'm still surprised they let the Apple Watch out in public.

I actually do not see it getting much thinner, just faster
