I trust that Steve is in awe of and enjoying immensely the next world.

Sad for his family and for us at the moment.

But I hope Steve is in real joy with his creator.

We did enjoy the ride with him though....

Thank you Mr. Jobs. You were like my first girlfriend. After i got a taste of what you were capable of things will never be the same. Thanks for everything. You will be missed.

Wow that made my stomach sink. R.I.P. Jobs, even though I didn't like some of his tactics he made Apple what it is today.

He went out on top that's for sure.

Steve your were a magical person..you showed us the future..now that's phenomenal.. You are the definition of "innovation" your innovation will live on forever.......

rest in peace Steve jobs..we thank you..

RIP Steve, and thank you for setting and continuing to raise the bar. Your impact will not be forgotten, and your legacy will live on.

I was stunned to read of the passing of Steve. My heartfelt thoughts and condolences to the Jobs' family and his extended family at Apple.

Thank You for all that you did to revolutionize the computer industry as we know it.

I raise my iPhone in salute to you!

R.I.P. Steve

It's nice to see how far hard work, persistence, and believing in yourself can take you in life. While it would have been nice to have had him around for much longer, without him the world would be a different place today.

I'd figured this day was approaching when he stepped down as CEO just a few weeks before launching the 4S. That still doesn't make it any easier...

I never worked with him. I never met him. I only knew of him, and yet he touched my heart and mind so deeply. He wasn't a saint. He wasn't perfect. He was simply a man. He will be greatly missed. The fact that someone so far removed from my life could have such an impact is truly a testament to his life's legacy.

My first computer was an Apple IIe in the 80's. That simple device by today's standards changed my life forever. Few people can hope to have that effect in a lifetime... Steve accomplished this regularly. :apple:

the world has lost someone of great talent, and we are saddened by that.

Condolences to Steve's family and friends, although there's some consolation in that it sounds like he was able to bid many of them farewell. That's better than a sudden passing that leaves the goodbyes unsaid.

Even though I knew this day was coming soon, I can't believe he actually died. Steve's innovation and positive outlook on life made him one of the most inspirational people of all time. :apple:

None of us would be here (this forum/site) but for him.
Words are always inadequate. They are not the thing.
Everyone affects/effects the entire world.
Some, like Mr. Jobs, in ways that are more noticeable.
Good and ill.
His, mostly good.
Mourning is a selfish, but understandable, act.
We regret the loss of the benefit we got out of the one who's gone.
Let them know we appreciate them while they can hear it.
