i guess he didnt renew his apple care

Ba dum tis

srsly tho condolences to his fam i know he's with budda now and kickin it

Somehow I expected this, but still it hit me so hard I am speechless.

The passion that came through his words, even when announcing or presenting the very least thing he had worked on, was really inspiring. His view of life and his ambitions will forever teach us something big.

I guess it means nothing, but when I'll hold the iPhone 4S in my hands, that will always be the iPhone 4 Steve to me.

Wherever he is now, I am sure he is happy for the life he lived.

God Bless you Steve

I just could not believe the news, I will (we will) miss you Steve. Steve has been an inspiration to all of us, my condolences to Steve's family.

No, I haven't read all the previous pages of replies, but does anyone else get the feeling he hung on to see Tim take over on the product announcement stage? ;)

As many of you I truly appreciated Steve. As a computer scientist and HCI researcher he has been the center of my inspiration ever since I touched the first mac back in my childhood. We will honor your legacy, understanding how your work and principles have lead us to a better world, following the path that you've enlightened us with.
RIP Jobs.

Such an inspiration

Thank you Steve for everything. Using the Mac for the first time was inspirational and life changing. You truly understood about technology and simplicity. I will forever be an Apple advocate and will miss you immensely.

Thank you for the magical moments and,"one more thing."

You never knew me but like millions of others you touched our lives.

Rest in peace....You deserve it so much.

where do we go from here? truly a sad day.

yes truly sad indeed.

im not sure its the vision, or the specific products thats the remarkable thing about steve. I think what we need to keep in our minds is his commitment to excellence. Quality, and an enjoyable experience. Its his work ethic, in making something that he was truly thrilled to share with the world. how many people do that today, no compromise?

Its his work ethic that CEOs and us as individuals would do best to remember. Doing so will make the road forward obvious.

Hard to believe that a man I never met, felt as much a father figure to me, as my own. Thanks SJ. rip.

Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. You have been the most important inspirational figure in my life. May your ideals live on forever.

An era has ended...

We all have been witnesses to the great achievements Steve Jobs has brought to the world of computing. No, to the world. Period.

We all are fortunate that he has been so successful.

Nothing can change what he has done. His work will stay. Forever.

Thank you Steve Jobs

In a digital world, you have brought me so much further. There is not only much to learn from your innovated technology. Also you brought culture, taste and a clear vision back into this digital world. An inspiration for me and my music. A genius in many aspects. I hope your visions will still lead Apple into a great future and inspire other companys. R.I.P STEVE JOBS
