Dear Steve,

I first saw a computer when I was 8 years old and I instantly knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

I've dedicated my life to technology and science. I teach computer networking, telecommunications and engineering and today, 32 years later, I still remember that glorious day when I first touched a computer like it was yesterday. It was an Apple ][.

Thank you for changing my life and making it even more amazing than I ever though it could be.

We'll miss you, Steve Jobs.

The Apple boys were in a sombre mood yesterday for the iPhone 4S debut. I wonder if they had decided to name it the 4S in memory of Steve (4 Steve)? That's the way i will remember it anyhow. Very sad to hear of Steve passing. Nobody was more of a mover and a shaker.

Very sad news...

I cried a little.. but then I';m thankful for all he has done for the computing market and also consumer market to put the internet in our pocket..

I didn't know the guy, but loved the way he came across and he will truly be missed.

I just hope Apple will continue to live strong in his absence.

A man is DEAD, a remarkable man at that. No matter how much you hate Apple, can you not show ANY respect?

Shocking news. The news hit me very hard. Quite sad. We have so much to remember him by. Incredible man.
