Steve Wozniak to Compete on 'Dancing with the Stars' TV Show

Wait, Woz? The show is called Rolling with the stars or..? Please. Please. Perform on your Segway. Once. :D

I love The Woz. He's just so... freaking awesome. He's a genuinely great guy - oh, and he happens to be the cofounder of my favorite little company.

I appreciate how he could be so successful with all he's done, and still be so down to earth real - it's very refreshing. I, for one, look forward to see him have fun with this.

This is more free advertising for Apple. He will be introduced as the inventor of the Apple computer, with the byline, can a technology geek dance?
 
Hahahaha I'm loving how all the up-tight yuppies have a problem with how the inventor of their beloved computer platform enjoy making a fool of himself. :)

I love that Woz is continuing to find ways to enjoy himself. It is sad that some people need to feel empowered to slam him for this.

If he likes it, more power to him!

Steve Wozniak along with Steve Jobs co-founded of Apple, Inc. Wozniak was the engineer behind the behind many of the early Apple computer designs. While he is said to remain an official employee of Apple, Wozniak plays no role in the day to day operations of the company.

I give him 2 weeks. He never came across as the dancer type to me. Are they trying to get us geeks to watch this show? gah. blechk.

What integrity? Woz has always been a joke. The show producers are signing him up for comedy relief.

I started hating Woz right around the time when he turned himself into a clown on that half-beast-half-man centaur Kathy Griffin's show where he kept showing her how to operate a jailbroken iPhone.
 
Those of you who don't normally watch Dancing.. just wait. Just wait until you start watching these HOT women in skimpy outfits. You too will be hooked. ;)
 
We can only hope and pray that this will make "Dancing with the Stars" a free download on iTMS. I for one will love to obsessively watch this entire season on my iPods, iPhone, Mac Computers, :apple:TV, Apple Displays, and Mac Touch Pro. If there is something remotely Apple related, I must obnoxiously obsess over it, glorify it and worship it. I am better then mainstream mac users, I am a hardcore original enthusiast. In fact, I lived next door to Jobs and watched him work in his garage. I also LOVE Kathy Griffin now because WOZ dated her and I have a Motorola processor embedded in my scalp so I can force my friends to call me Mr. Performa. This may be the greatest thing to happen to me since "The Martinettis Bring Home a Computer". Apple, Apple, Apple, WOZ!

The new face for Apple

I feel that after all these years of hiatus from the public limelight, the "Woz" is stepping up to the plate:D. With :apple:Steve Jobs:apple: stepping aside for Tim Cook to take over, the "Woz" will fulfill that familiar face to associate with Apple routine that Jobs has had all these years. I am starting to see the "Woz" with that ever-so-familiar black shirt attire for his public photo shoots. He may not be as energitic on stage as Jobs', but this may stimulate a new Steve Wozniak that we have not seen yet. With a Hollywood "image enhancer", :apple:Steve Wozniak:apple: may very well be the next face for Apple (with his Segway and all).
