Steve Jobs would have had beta 5 out by the end of the day amirite??? :p.

In all seriousness I don't see what the big deal is at this point. Each update will be strictly bug updates. I don't see anymore changes being made at this point. And since I don't have many problems with it now on my iphone. I can wait another week or so till the next beta is out.

The big deal is there are some big bugs that need to be addressed.

Ugh I hope it comes out tomorrow or I'm restoring to iOS6. So many HUGE bugs, not little ones. If I'm using my phone I don't get any text/mail notifications and more than half of my incoming calls don't register unless the person leaves a voicemail. This is **** that should've been sorted out in Alpha.

I feel the same way. I won't go back and restore to IOS 6 but I should. I have learned to live with it. And my clients have learned that they need to call me 4-5 times for me to be able to answer lol

The big reason why it doesn't make sense for a beta to come out with ADC down is that Xcode can't be updated without ADC. Presumably a new beta would break with the older Xcode, making the whole point of the beta useless.

I guess since I'm using the iPhone 5 I don't see that many bugs per say. I had it on my iPad mini, and it was really slow and buggy. So I went back to iOS 6 on the iPad. But it's been pretty good on my phone. Very little bugs to speak of. Just wish some of my apps would work on it. But it's no biggie. So yes I guess from that context I can wait another week for another release from Apple. :)

It's worse when you're trying to get job interviews and miss their calls :/.

iOS 7 has been pretty stable for me on iPod touch 5th gen...Not many bugs, I've had only TWO crashes in the time from July 8th- now...and both were SpringBoard...Also the bug with black out wallpaper happens wayyyy less frequently. So to me I can be on beta 3 another week or two actually.

I know people are sick of hearing this, but why are you using beta software on a device that you clearly need working properly?

seriously lol, they all know there might be bugs and not everything will function properly. For me, beta 3 has been stable, no problems with missing calls or anything important. However if I found out that it was, I would revert immediately or at least try a clean restore and see if it would improve. I would not prioritize a beta ios over my real life duties, and then complain about it.

I really find it interesting how iOS7 behaves differently on different devices. I am using it on iPhone 5 and with all honesty I have hardly come accross a bug or two since updated to beta 3. And the battery life just as good as ON iOS 6. So I can understand the comment above about beta 4 not being a big deal (well, for these who are not having any problems)

Why don't you revert back to beta 2 then? At least it's usable. Beta 3 was missing calls and randomly turning off (DFU) when left idle. Both of those were deal breakers for me, and I've not had those issues at all with beta 2. I don't know why so many people accept it and continue using beta 3. I can deal with random crashes and restarts (beta 2), but not missed calls/texts (beta 3).

What's wrong with the words "locked up"? Why do people refuse to describe it in that way? We've determined it's not DFU mode and it's obviously not powered off.

I don't get it.

Bets really have to be on Monday the 29th.

Based on history, they can be any day.

Well, I really don't want to add to the hysteria concerning Beta 4, but … I've been watching the "Checking for Update … " spin for about 5 minutes right now. That could either be the beta 4 OTA update, or a glitch in iOS 7 beta 3. Guess I'll let it spin and see if the iPad either melts down or it gets an OTA update.

Mine spins for like 3 seconds then says it's up to date. Then if I check again, it's faster.
