16GB is so 2009. Seriously I can't believe in 6 years Apple is so incredibly greedy that they can't make 32gb the default, how much more does it cost after 6 years of flash memory renaissance? $3 more? Unbelievable.

Dude man. I have a life outside of Macrumors. Seriously. My daughter died so you feel happy now? Just kidding.
My point is I have a friend who works at an Apple store and asked him about 16GB returns. He said he has not heard of anyone returning the phone because it was 16GB. He got returns from people who thought the 6s+ was too big and some who said the 6s screen was too small.
A person can only be in the store working certain hours. They wouldn't be able to formulate a true conclusion off that data.
I lost my son 10 years ago. I know how hard that can be. Not really a joke... =/

Two scenarios with returns at this time:
Minimal amount of larger storage sizes available at stores and in the color and carrier one wants.
Minimal amount if any of 6s Plus variants if one prefers that instead no matter what color.
And folks would rather not be without an iphone so that is all.![]()
I know that this is within Apple's policy so I can't say much, but this drives me nuts. All these frivolous returns are costing someone money - and it's not Apple. Those costs get passed to consumers. It also eats up launch stock when people pull this crap.
I get annoyed to no end when someone orders 4 iPhones, opens them all, then returns 3 of them keeping the "perfect" specimen. Give me a fricking break. Perfect does not exist no matter how valuable you think your phone is.

? Please show proof. Millions return iPhones all the time, so that is adding 100$ each time?Yup it sucks. The few ruining for the many.
Each returned phone that is opened is costing the consumer at least $100 of added cost.
I returned my 16GB and purchased a 64GB (Which is having the switching off and hot touch ID thoughSo much for 16GB being unusable. have not seen a single customer return a 16GB 6s so far.
Your one friend working at one Apple store can't possibly provide statistically relevant data.

did you just discover you need more than 16GB?
why not? His store sells thousands of iPhones a month.
How is his observations worth less than the few dozen who say 16GB is unuseable for anyone?
