Yes I put the tab in and was impressed, also screen shield bubbles around the caps. It maybe just that I have a icarbons on the back but I filed the inside of the caps to create a little more room and it killed another screen shield

Wow that seems like it's a really really tight fit. I may cancel my order now since I don't want to mess up the screen protector I have on my ipad and wait for a case that doesn't cover the bezel at all. I have it placed absolutely perfect without a speck of dust. I don't wanna mess it up now. Thanks for that info though.

Anybody know how heavy this thing is? I have a TPU case on currently and it's painfully heavy.

Deal breaker -- I will be returning my STM Skinny as it is having the same magnet problem as the Yoobao. It wasn't immediately noticeable though if you firmly press the case against the back of the iPad and then attempt to line up the corners it will put the iPad to sleep.:mad:

I was liking the case until I realized I could make this happen and well, frankly, that just makes it unacceptable.

Not sure what I will be getting now though I can not recommend this for anyone interested.

Know the feeling I agree. Just got my power support Anti Glare and don't want to mess it up.

I just tried to do this as well. And while it did shut it down I had force this to happen. IMHO there is no way that this would happen unless you were trying to make it happen. Was the the same thing that was happening with the Yoobao? From what I read I thought it was like the moment you flipped it over.

Hmm i'll have to try and recreate this, i didn't notice it activating the magnet for me, but i wasn't trying that hard.

If you have to force it into this situation rather than using it a normal fashion, your point is mute and without any merit.

My point exactly. Has anyone tried to force this with the Smart Cover? IMO the STM Skinny is fantastic.

I have had no issues with this case putting my iPad to sleep when in use. I'll shoot a video a little later today and get it up on YouTube (sorry can't link it) but it will be there for those of you who want to get an up close and personal look at it.

I had the Yoobao for a day and it went into sleep mode immediately upon folding the cover back. No force required; it went beddy-bye immediately. As you say, unacceptable and with the stink factor as an added "bonus" back it went to the gracious folks at AYL for a full refund.

Mine was waiting for me when I got home today.

You are 100% correct. Normal usage will not activate the sleep/wake function when the front cover is folded flat over the back when used in a normal fashion. Period.

I have a back screen protector on. I had no problem putting the iPad in the case and damaging it, though I admit to being very careful doing it. Same with taking it off.

I can use my Griffin PowerDock Dual charger with the case on. Big plus.

This is an extremely nice case, look wise and functionality...especially for the money.

I got mine also, I tried to make it go to sleep by folding the cover back and could not do it. I also have a SPG screen protector and it goes in the case fine. I also shook mine to try and make it come out and it would not. For the money it is a good purchase.

(edit)The only thing I don't like is the flap, I will probaly end up cutting it off.

If you cut off the flap, you won't be able to use the stand unless you jury rig a flap into the loop. I agree the flap is a bit annoying, but it's needed. It is a really nice case, I must say.

Well the first time I noticed it I would say I was using it in normal operation, I wasn't trying to discredit the case though once it happened the first time it became very apparent how easy it was for it to possibly shut off. I think I am going to have the shop swap out the case and see if perhaps the magnet they put in mine was too strong for it's own good.

Got mine also today. I just tried few times to make it sleep and couldn't do it. Its possible that there build differences between cases, but mine doesn't have this problem. I even tried forcing it.

Case seems very good and much better then Griffin one I had. its going back to Best Buy tomorrow. I would prefer for no parts of ipad to be exposed but I do like the feel of the material and the stiffness of the case. Feels very good. Flap is ok but I can see where it can get annoying.

I have yet to get a screen protector and still have original plastic on it.

A great case

This is case is definitely better than my previous Targus 360 case, which I returned. I got this case because it has a slim profile and the sleep/wake function. The sleep/wake functions works fine and does not affect the iPad when it is folded back. The case is sturdy and lightweight. The iPad is pretty secured in case. Definitely keeping this case.

The only cons i can find are that it does not fully protect the top and bottom of the ipad and it does not fold flat when closed. This isnt really a big problem for me though.

here are some pictures.

Some of the photos posted, yours included, make the gap when the cover is closed by the corner tab look big, but when it's in your hands and your looking at it, at least for me, it's not really noticeable or a big deal.

The green looks pretty good btw.

The two corners are actually magnets that hold the flap down. It was probably unavoidable to have them protrude a little. Really not a big deal.

Has anyone tried it with a power support shield and a back i.e. icarbons yet? I have had problems with both. I understand the icarbon back adds to it, but it looks great in the black case. Maybe one has to go :(

Why have the back cover? Seems like an overkill. I'm getting my PS AG tomorrow and I hope it doesn't bubble. If it does, I'll just take an exacto to the two corners. I don't think the corners on the hinge side will be a problem. Someone on here said the PS AG bubbled, but he also had a skin on. We'll see tomorrow.
