Some of the photos posted, yours included, make the gap when the cover is closed by the corner tab look big, but when it's in your hands and your looking at it, at least for me, it's not really noticeable or a big deal.

The green looks pretty good btw.

Sorry I have to disagree, that green is ugly. Gotta go with black.

Why have the back cover? Seems like an overkill. I'm getting my PS AG tomorrow and I hope it doesn't bubble. If it does, I'll just take an exacto to the two corners. I don't think the corners on the hinge side will be a problem. Someone on here said the PS AG bubbled, but he also had a skin on. We'll see tomorrow.

I'd have to disagree... For whatever reason, many of the cases we are seeing that do not cover the bezel and the iPad snaps into also do not fully cover the iPad. Many of these cases are exposing the top and bottom, and IMO it's probably a good idea to use a skin for a little extra scratch protection. Many of these skins are thin enough that they should not affect the use in a case, but at the same time we really can't blame the manufacturer for not taking this into consideration.

My Skinny hasn't arrived yet but with the Yoobao, I would simply flip it over and it would shut off unless I stuck my fingers in between the flaps.

I just tried to do this as well. And while it did shut it down I had force this to happen. IMHO there is no way that this would happen unless you were trying to make it happen. Was the the same thing that was happening with the Yoobao? From what I read I thought it was like the moment you flipped it over.

No Sleep-gate with the Skinny

With the Skinny, you have to flip the cover back, grab the tab and actually stretch the cover so that it reaches far enough to trigger the sleep switch. It would never happen under normal usage. You can flip the cover back, tuck the tab into the loop and it will not go to sleep. Completely a non-issue. No sleeper-gate

Screen protector...no problem

But the pictures show it with the original plastic still on the screen and isn't that way thicker than a screen protector???

I just received my PS AG film this morning and installed it. I can confirm that there is no bubbling issue at all. The two corner pieces do not affect the film in the least bit. Someone on this thread reported a problem, but he had a back film on as well and that may have caused the problem. My iPad is complete, now.

I have the PS HD AG on order along with the STM Skinny and was debating whether or not to get the clear or AG film. Are you happy with the HD AG? Thanks.

It really is a great case for those of you wanting as close to a naked iPad without sacrificing protection. I posted a video review of this case on YouTube and said basically the same thing. The only thing I wonder about is how well it will hold up over time. Aside from that I have no issue recommending it to those looking for the slimmest possible solution.

Side note: I have had no issues with the sleep/wake feature, works perfect!

I actually emailed STM to commend the case and tell them that they should make the case in leather. They emailed me back that they are actually working on a leather version of the case. That will be the ultimate, in my opinion.

Absolutely. I always go for the AG, mainly because it helps a lot with fingerprints. I don't think it detracts from the display at all. And the fact that it eliminates glare and reduces fingerprints more than compensates for the slightly (if any) reduced clarity of the screen. The crystal film only protects the screen; it still attracts fingerprints, possibly worse than the bare screen.

This is the case to have!

My STM Skinny in black just showed up and I am unbelievably 100% satisfied. In my experience, with a product like this, there is always something to be desired. There are NO disappointments. Quality, fit, and finish are fantastic. I am amazed at the quality of the case in its first issue. If you haven't bought this yet, you are missing out.

Does anybody have the color called "Mushroom" on the website? In some photos that looks like grey which could be nice, but in others it looks more like a weird purply gross color. I was hoping somebody could comment on that.

I really like this look of this case, but I am kind of worried about the magnet issue that was reported on here. Maybe it would be better to wait a bit and see how they work that out before buying one.

Also in the past I haven't been a fan of cases with flaps, but this might be the exception. I don't like holding the iPad to read with a flap folded around the back. That was my biggest complaint about the smart cover. I guess it's hard to ask about that without actually trying one out. Maybe Microcenter will eventually get one and I can go try it on (they usually carry STM products).

Right now I have an Incipio NGP which is pretty decent as far as semi-hard shells go and I think I'm happy with it so I'm not in a rush, but I'm really curious about this case.

Honestly you have to force the magnet issue. Been using this case nonstop since I got it and unless I try and try hard it does not effect it.

On buy.com for $32 shipped.

Only problem is that it's the green color. Will wait for the black one to show up.

Also for the people who has the product - do you find it to weigh your iPad 2 down at all? Or is it light and comfortable to use? I notice that it's 160grams and my TPU case is around 150 grams but I find it really heavy on the iPad and uncomfortable to use for extended periods.

I have been using this case for a couple days now and you have to really try to get it to go to sleep with the cover folded back. Hasnt happened a single time with just folding cover back and regular use. Really nice case. Only thing I'm having to get used to is the flap but it's probably just a personal thing. By the way, the green case looks great with the olive iPad STM scout xsmall.

Wow the buy.com price is really good,I almost feel like it's worth getting one just to try it and return it if I like my other case better.

Thanks for all of the pics (and video link). I can't wait to get mine! When I ordered, the ship date was 4/12 - here's to hoping!

eBags has it on sale for $32 as well, and it seems like their shipping might be faster than buy.com.

EDIT: haha I hadn't refreshed the page and didn't see the post above. I ordered the green. If I don't like it they have a free shipping return policy so I said what the hell. I think the green outside looks okay and kind of different but I'm not sure about the green plastic clip things that hold the iPad in. Maybe I could exchange for grey later but I thought I'd order since the price was right and everything.

Anyone have a front and back protector on while in the case? I know it is overkill but just curious.

I have just a front protector. I think the back is overkill and have heard there may be bubbling issues of front film if you have a back skin. The plastic "corners" protect the exposed edges. It's not completely protected, but I think it's enough. It a really great case, for sure.
