All the hate is coming from new X owners. The specs for the 8 plus and X are identical, major difference? Face ID and OLED screen, it’s like 8 + owners bashing 8 owners because we prefer the smaller phone.
Most who went for the 8 are waiting for the updated version of the X, so in reality we like the X, just not what it is right now. So who’s hating who?
I’m going to guess, numpties, is that it? Do I win a prize
😀
I just don’t understand why people can’t be happy with what they buy. Didn’t they buy it for themselves, to suit their needs? If so, who gives a damn what other people do.
I dislike misinformation, so I’ll often wade in on that with, you know, actual facts. Because I’d like people reading to know the truth.
I’ll share my likes and dislikes because it can be interesting to hear other people’s opinions.
I’ll definitely offer help and advice when I can.
But no matter what I’m rambling on about (and I do ramble on ridiculously, it’s the morphine
😀) I never intend to sound as if I think I’m better than anyone else. Hell anyone who knows me would tell you it’s the exact opposite with me. I don’t care who has what and how.
My social circle spans people who are almost permanently skint to, well let’s just say the other end of the scale. We all share one thing in common. We don’t give a damn about material things. We may have them, but that’s for our own enjoyment.
I was probably going somewhere with this, but I forget now. Damnit, I’ve either had too much morphine or not enough. Only one way to find out
😀

Makes perfect sense. Someone like you would purchase what makes sense to you, be happy with their decision, and go about your business. I think the OPs issue is with the fact too many are buying the phone for reasons other than practicality or necessity, and then turning around and passing judgment on other phones and other users, and that is what's getting old.
Yeah I’m with you there. It’s hard to grasp the reasons behind that sort of behaviour. Well, I find it difficult to get into that mindset.
I don’t know if it’s a generational thing? Are young’uns primarily the initiators. Is it a lack of respect for people or things?
When I was growing up we didn’t have much money. I didn’t get to enjoy that side of life until I was older and made my own way in life. But I don’t mind. Indeed I’m glad that’s how it was, it taught me to be thankful for what I had and to respect my belongings because they wouldn’t easily be replaced.
My dad and his big heavy army belt on the other hand, well, that taught me to respect people
😀
