I just chatted with someone from BB and they said that on the inventory end they are completely out of “early stock” of the Tilt and Height / Regular Glass model, at least in the region near Tennessee. Possibility of an update on the 17th but not guaranteed. Just in case this is helpful to anyone.

According to some reviews, the Amazon stand is almost identical to the Ergotron LX, at least the silver one. In fact, some Amazon stand users get the Ergotron LX Arm Extension for their Amazon stand.

I got my Ergotron LX like 11 years ago. By that time it was the only one available of that kind.

Just to note, BB online said no stock but when I went in-person, they could order the VESA mount for me.

The guy said that he understood I was talking about early stock and just not pre order, and then asked a supervisor to check or something, but I guess I might as well try going to my local store in person tomorrow just in case. Will report back.

The height/tilt and tilt only are the ones showing Sold Out on line. All other options show Coming Soon so I think those with Coming Soon label are the ones still available for early access.

I got the Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Dock but I’m using it with my Mac Studio only to plug my external drives and USB hubs. I think the only docks that can do dual 5K displays are the TS4 and Thunderbolt 4 Element from Caldigit but they are plagued with bugs. The Satechi and OWC can do dual 4K at 60Hz or a single 6K @ 60Hz.

I used the Amazon Basics heavy duty arm to hold an iMac Pro... That same arm is now holding a Dell 4K monitor that will be replaced with the Studio Display any day now. It's a great arm for the money ($80 at the time I bought it). My only complaint is it has no lock or detents for the rotation. But very solid and holding a 27" iMac Pro is a pretty impressive feat for such an inexpensive arm.

Well jus noticed this morning that both of my ASDs purchased from Best Buy transactions posted in my Credit Cards today. I'm guessing this is good news as Best Buy does not charge your credit card unless they have the item in stock and it's ready to ship/pickup but who knows... Hopping for the best

PS: Standard Glass tilt is back in stock at Best Buy, if anyone is still looking for one.

My in-store BBY order posted to my card as soon as I placed it on Saturday, still seeing “Preparing for pickup on Thursday”, so cautiously optimistic these will be there. FWIW, only the Magnolia salesperson knew how to do the preorder, the other folks I spoke to said it’s not available yet or sold out, but before giving up I spoke to the Magnolia guy and explained the situation that some stores were apparently able to take orders and he said most employees don’t know how to do the high end preorders and he punched it right up.

Hopefully it will be soon that Apple Stores get loads of Standard Height/Tilt in stock. Nano tilts are everywhere and AREN'T selling. My Ultra is now Preparing to Ship so I'm ready to buy 3 ASD for it!!!

To be honest, I don't see that happening any time soon. Apple needs to catch up with current orders, build some inventory then the option to swap stands could become available. My best estimate is by the end of the year.

It will be interesting to see how the nano models sell in general. Perhaps people willing to spring for the nano texture screen are also more willing to pay for the height adjustment, or use a VESA mount.

That is awesome. Mines are still showing April 20th for pickup Another person just posted that his pair of VESA mount scheduled for April 20th as well were ready today and he picked them up. Looks like I'm the only one left behind LOL. Did they call or the status changed on Best Buy website?

I just came back from Best Buy and they said my pair of ASDs VESA Mount are "In Transit" from the main warehouse to the store and they could be available before the 20th.
