I really like the polished looks it has for sure :) Too bad the clasp is a little hard to manipulate, but you kinda get the hang of it after a while and learn how to manage it around.

I just sent back my Canvas case this morning, after both lower right and left corners cracked. I don't think the "revised" version are any better, since this was a recent order of just a week or so ago.

I'm asking for a refund instead of an exchange so we'll see how it goes. It's disappointing since the case was otherwise really good, and there aren't any comparable cases out there for the same price.

I own a switcheasy case for my iphone and the material while stiff, seems a little more flexible while the Canvas plastic is VERY brittle. Don't know why they didn't use the same material for the Canvas. The iPad can go in but it can't come out without cracking the case.
 
I'm also on my second case, and that also just recently cracked again...
I'm also not opting for a third one, but rather get another brand altogether.
Probably a leather one. These can't crack at least ;)

Another thing which i wasn't to thrilled about, is that the canvas material scuffs way too easy for my taste. Even i only put the case in the laptop compartment of my backpack i have several streak marks across the canvas surface.
 
I got my replacement from Switcheasy a few weeks ago. Originally had the Charcoal one but asked if they could replace it with the Black one and I'm glad I did like the Black one more than the Charcoal. So far no cracks or anything and the clasp is fine but we will see. If it happens to crack again then I will probably look into getting a different case and not the Canvas again.
 
Has anyone bought one of the new canvas's in a different color? Was thinking about switching from the charcoal.
 
I got my switcheasy yesterday; what an excellent case! I didn't have any of the issues mentioned here. My clasp was a little stiff, but I was able to shut it without much problem. I sped up the break in by just bending it back a bit with my fingers(not too much though I was afraid I would break it), now it works perfectly. Also, the dust covers they include for the headphone and USB slots is a really nice touch.
 
Hey guys! I live in Singapore and I purchased my switcheasy canvas case via paypal. However for the past few days, I have yet to receive any news from them regarding my purchase? :/ is it normal? Email-ed them enquiring about confirmation regarding my purchase and I have yet to receive a reply either. Is this just a case of paranoia?
 
Loving my Canvas three weeks in! Class is tight butdoabe with one hand, I like it tight (that's what she said!). there are so many different positions to set it up, I have a very comfortable, better than the naked iPad, way to hold the iPad when playing games, mostly games that require two thumbs. And when typing it has a great angle and sturdiness in another position, all these positions have been discussed here but perhaps I will post some pics. Almost didn't buy this case due to some small negatives, then nothing else in the market seamed to even look close to functional, will never ditch this case! switch easy has allays had excellent support for my iPhone case so I know if this cracks they will replace it

What's the quality of the front Skin that comes with this? Is it comparable to Zagg's Invisibleshield?

I haven't tried zagg's but my guess would be no. I don't have any bubble on mine but the rainbow/orange peel/whatever you want to call it is pretty bad

BUT, they seem to stand behind things if something goes wrong. Can't ask for more than that
 
Planned to pick up a red canvas but after viewing the video posted by psychonaut, the shade of red looks different compared to the one shown on switcheasy's website (which i prefer).

So it's either black or charcoal for me, which one do you guys think is better? Any experience with both?

Where did you email them at? I looked on their site and I didn't see a customer support email address or procedure.

I emailed them at around 1 a.m or so and had a reply that morning when I woke up. They just asked for pics of the problem and a copy of the paypal receipt and had the replacement shipped out that day. Their customer service is great, but I went ahead and returned my canvas for a refund and I'm thinking about getting the coverbudy now.
