Likewise. But will reinstall on a future update.Purchased, installed, disliked, very laggy, disabled, uninstalled.

There seems to be a number of people on Twitter also complaining of the same issue - no keyboard appearing in any apps once Swype is installed. Swype hasn't commented on the problem whatsoever so let's assume they are just as clueless at the moment.
For those that have it up and running - Were you on the Beta then GM released earlier this week or did you download the "fresh" version today?

There is no "fresh" version. They are the same. Period.
I understand that - hence the quotations...trying to figure out if having the beta and updating to the GM is causing an issue with third party keyboards. So instead of just trying to prove you are super intelligent and I clearly don't know what I'm talking about how about you contribute something and answer the question. Did you go from iOS7 - iOS8 today or did you have the beta?
Swiftkey and Swype both show up at the ITUNES link in google, but I cannot find them from my phone's appstore!?
What is going on??? Why can't I see them directly from the phone?
How can I get swype with standard iOS layout?
Neither. I went 7.1.2 JB to the GM.
One of the many "features" that Android users loved to criticize Apple users about....and now that its available, hardly anyone will use it, just like on Android.
Download Swiftkey.
I use it on my android devices all the time. I've just bought it for iOS now.
and I hope it works well for you. My point was merely, things like this get so overblown. Maybe a million people might find this interesting or useful. That's nothing compared to the nearly 1 billion iOS users.
