Thanks. Do you have an older iPhone or the new 6S's? Reason I ask is that the newer ones include Band 12 which is supposed to improve indoor coverage with T-Mobile. I have a Sim Free 6S Plus on order which also includes band 12, so I should be ok.

Yeah I have the 6s Plus unlocked from AT&T. I'm guessing T-Mobile hasn't activated band 12 coverage in my area yet. All in all its not too bad. I'm still able to get things done quickly enough even on 4G, though that's what I miss the most leaving AT&T; great indoor coverage.

A similar plan is cricket $35 plan. It is unlimited talk, text, and 2.5 gb data. They use ATT towers. Basically boils down to data vs minutes between that plan and the tmobile plan.

That is interesting. I am looking at it right now.

I am sorry I didn't know that as I got in US last year.
Well, I was asking it as a question because I am not 100% certain. But I have never heard of a US plan (on a major carrier anyway) where minutes were counted differently when received. I have heard of "in network" minutes beinf free, meaning a TMO-TMO call or ATT-ATT call wouldn't count against minutes, but not what youre suggesting.

i also think the same. i think the outgoing calls are counted as minutes.

that is good. but magic jack uses your own phone number?

My understanding is it's a second number and its $1.99 per month.

If you're able to get a T-Mobile family
Plan going you're better off with that on a per line basis, but you'd need four lines to get the best value out of it.

I'm on this plan, and I've been using it since iPhone 6 launch day last year.

LTE speeds anywhere from 15-30 Mbps depending on area for me.

Can anyone confirm 100% that Music Freedom is available with this plan? I don't stream often, but I'd like to know if I get unlimited streaming.

There is always Google Hangouts if you don't mind Google, except they need to fix the speakerphone issue on 6s(+).

yeah i know. thank god there is someone else apart from me with that issue. i have bought 3 6s plus and all three had the same problem.

I got my 6S+ through Jump On Demand with T-Mobile, is there any way I can switch to this plan? I'm currently on a family plan but this is perfect for me and $20 cheaper.

You may have to ask TMo since this is for new accounts only. I've seen people have luck through talking to a rep.

Even if T-Mobile does eliminate this plan eventually. They will probably grandfather you into the plan for as long as you don't make any changes. I still have 4 lines open with Gold Rewards.

Yeah. I have submitted a big report with Facebook messenger but no luck till yet.
I wonder what changed with the new iPhones that voip apps need to be updated. I think Facebook has other things on their mind (battery drain) :)

yeah. that is one the apps i use the most.

So i am thinking of porting my number to t-mobile $30/month plan which includes 100 minutes and unlimited texts with 5GB of 4G data. so i want to know that will i get LTE service on my iphone with this plan? and what if i receive calls does it count as minutes as well? and what happens after 100 minutes are finished? Thanks

I had that plan. Once your 100 minutes are up, it's up. You hit a brick wall. Any calls you try to make, you get a message saying you need to add more minutes or pay an additional $30, even if that month isn't up yet. Same with incoming calls, you will not receive anything. The only calls you can make when that 100 minutes are up are emergency 911 calls.

It's great if you don't plan to talk much. Great for a deaf person, since they text instead.

LOL haha. i was only inclined towards it due to the 5GB data plan. but since incoming calls are also counted as minutes. That sucks.

You just had to refill more money and they charge you $0.10/min until the plan restarts. Did you even bother reading the terms? Lol
