Carrier T-Mobile 5S Shipping Thread

Accessories ready to go, but no 32GB Gold iPhone yet. The wait is killing me! :(


Order placed @ 12:03 am on launch day from T-mobile site. Transaction was processed, but now backordered. T-mo's estimated delivery is still 10/7 through UPS. Aside from this big Chinese Holiday Oct 1-7...I'm still hoping it gets shipped out early next week here in NorCal! :fingers crossed:

Has anyone received a 32gb Gold? I feel like the only ones shipped out were 16gb. I wonder if they even actually got any.
 
I spoke to T-Mobile today and they told me the first week of October they will be shipping out the Gold iPhone 5s and the second week will be the silver iPhone 5s and they said that they can guarantee that we will get our phones the first week of October . I'm just trying to give everyone hope about them getting their phones .

Awesome, I've heard a few people say reps were saying Oct 1st. If that's true I should have it by the end of the week. Here's to hoping.

I sure hope that's true! I chatted with an online T-mobile specialist and only told me what I already knew...that it would be "shipped" on the 7th. I asked him "Well, it says it will be delivered on the 7th...so that means it should be shipped sometime this week, right?" All I got was that's correct. ehhh...I still keep checkin my order status page...STILL. BACKORDERED. :\
 
my gf's Gold iPhone 5S 64GB just got marked as shipped...she ordered around 5pm EST on launch day from a tmobile kiosk in the mall. Seems like orders are starting to move!

When did you guys order it?
 
After 5 days of no update, my 5S is now in transit and very close to me. I wish it would show up today but i doubt it will. UPS is awful.
 
Rep on the T-mobile forum is saying that they should start getting them shipped out tomorrow (and some even are already starting the process). Hopefully I'm up soon since I got mine early.

Ditto. Actually have two phones in the order, a gold and a grey, but when they told me this morning (via chat) that they wouldn't ship for at least two more weeks I did the Apple Store online 'reserve' and purchased a grey phone this morning. Naturally when I got home and was working on getting it activated, our order changed to 'shipped', but ground from Kentucky... No other status yet.

I believe the number porting process starts when you activate the new phone. I would call (or online chat) AT&T and ask what the ETF would be if you switched now. I did that with Sprint. They said that there was no ETF, if I broke the contract with less than a month to go.

ETA: My first plan was to order the phones on the Sept 20 and hold them until the contract with Sprint was over on the 7th. I chatted with a Sprint respresentive about the ETF after a post on the Sprint thread. The poster was told that there was no ETF if you had less than a month to go on the contract. AT&T may be different, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I called AT&T, and the rep said I would still pay a $95 ETF if I switched today. So, I guess I'll wait until we are officially out of contract. :(

Although, with the availability the way it is, I should probably order the iPhones now. I'm sure it will take at least a week for us to get them.
 
Still doesn't seem like many phones shipped from them. If it doesn't ship by Thursday I think I'm just going to keep watching the Apple pickup. I want the gold but the wait is making that hard. Don't know if it's worth it at this point. :p
 
Up to now, I haven't received my 16gb gold 5s from T-mobile. It has been two weeks and it's still back ordered. The wait is very tiring. It takes away the excitement of having the phone. I just don't care about the phone anymore. Seriously thinking of cancelling the order and just get the Note 3.
