For what its worth, T-Mobile Order Status is terrible.

I've purchased 21 Smartphones with T-Mobile the last 6 years and a lot were pre orders.

Most of the time I actually received the Phone before I got any update or text that my order had shipped.

Apple usually requires UPS to hold deliverly until the day phone is released however T-Mobile (when not an iPhone) usually ships early. I received my T-Mobile G1, HTC Amaze and G2x and G2 2 or 3 days earlier than it hit the stores.

Everyone needs to calm down. I personally feel reassured because my Credit card was charged.

But I can say this: If your waiting on t-mobiles order status page, then it might be a long wait.

I actually signed up for UPS Quantum tracking and I will get a notification email the moment that a package is on its way to my house.

I bolded the part of your message that is crap I have to deal with. I'm a techie. I'm a gamer. I pre order a lot of things because I want them on launch. Me giving my money in advance is to secure a service or product as soon as possible. Otherwise why even bother? If I wanted to wait I would do that and keep money in pocket. I paid a deposit on the phone since I"m switching over so it's not just a $1 charge pending on my account. With Verizon the company I currently subscribe to people pre ordered and immediately knew where they stood. You will receive your shipment on X date. I can't even get that assurance here and it's my first business transaction. Now I call to follow up and I get poor customer service on top of them flip flopping and not even knowing when they will get stock. I also find it hard to believe a company would take pre orders without any idea of inventory. Again I'm a gamer so I have pre ordered Consoles for launch date from various companies and when they reach their inventory limit they cut off the pre orders. Why can't T mobile have done that? It saves a lot of confusion and pandemonium as we have seen on these forums these last few days.

Fair enough.

I'll agree with you on how pre-ordering should be handled. T-Mobile really needs to get their act together when it comes to this and hopefully this whole iPhone 6 debacle will force them to change how they handle pre-orders in the future.

For someone who supposedly worked at a call center, are you going to let one person ruin your impression? As you should know, there are times where people have off days, or there are the occasional bad hires that will eventually get weeded out. First impressions are important, but logic should prevail since there are certain instances where the first impression is not always the best way to judge something.

It's not "supposedly" why would I lie about this. I worked in a call center and have extensive customer service background. Have there been days I didn't give the best customer service to people? Absolutely but I had to take responsibility for that. When you're on the phone you don't represent yourself you represent a company. Times that I didn't give great customer service I potentially lost business for my employer. In this day and age consumers have unlimited choices in how and where they do business. So you have to do everything you can to make sure you make the people who pay your bills (customers) happy. T mobile has spent the better part of this last year trying to reinvent themselves and steal customers away from other carriers and this is me giving them a try to see if the hype is real and so far I'm not impressed. I don't see how it's unreasonable to call customer service and expect for them to actually help you. And let's say they can't help in the way you want, at the very least I expect them to be polite. That's asking for too much?

I called my local T-Mobile store and the guy there told me they should have iPhone 6 and 6 Pluses available on launch day. He said only the 16 GB models will be sold

I ordered a 6+ on Friday and I just got a email saying my order has been received and my card was finally charged but still no tracking number I also paid the 11.99 overnight fee. Fingers crossed

someone easy my conscious please :(

Anyone with an order starting with "S" been charged yet????

My wife's "S" order has been charged. So far, it seems only regular iPhone 6 orders are being charge, while I haven't heard anything back on iPhone 6+ being charged today.

Was it charged today, or when you placed the order?

$11.99? Was this over the phone? They charged me $24 for overnight.

Is it the case that those who ordered the 6 with next day delivery are being charged earlier than those that used UPS ground?

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu:mad: I had to redo the whole ordering process over the phone since my order was apparently canceled without notification  The T-Mobile rep did say that there is a good chance that a lot of people won't have funds for when the order gets shipped or something and that I still have a chance of getting it early. She did also confirm that people that are pre-ordering will be getting overnight for free. I'm still actually mad at how my order got canceled though

They just charged me for one of the phones. The 6 16gb normal size. Hope they charge for the next one also. Woot woot!
