Ordered @ store 4:25PM Eastern charged my bank today.

Like everyone else I tried early @ 3AM(Eastern) 9/12. No luck online called @ 8AM told me to go to store. Went to store @ 10 AM system was down. Called the store at 4:25PM system was up gave card info over the phone. Received text about upgrade then backorder and now my bank was charged for upgrade. Non jump although I was TMO customer. Just thought I'd share so we can get better idea of what's going on. Been checking forums since page 1. (iPhone 6 128 Space Gray) Also added Overnight for shipping. I also checked TMO website and my order info is still same. No shipping date and still backordered.

who the hell hired t-mobile's web developers? they have the sorriest website i've ever seen -- they chose aesthetics over functionality -- a 90's site would work better at this point -- such a god damn fail.:confused:

If anyone's to blame, it's the people of the logistics end of things who can't make up their mind when a shipment is going to go out. The web developers are largely blameless. My guess is they're overwhelmed with the scope of their first major (and overall record-breaking) iPhone rollout.
 
might be worth something for the crowd that's been charged to check in the source code for the est. delivery date - probably still meaningless but it's still there only they've hidden it with CSS. just out of curiosity...

do an inspect element on the text that displays your shipping type and look for the top string in the photo

Same phone, did EIP as well at 4:51. I was only charged $1.

I left out it was AM on the 12th.

I was like huh since I had just read that you don't get charged until the item is shipped ...

so many inconsistencies!
 
Just got off the phone with customer service I'm a new customer switching from Verizon. My status hasn't changed since Friday just says order placed online. When I called the robo lady says my phone is back ordered. Went to speak to a representative Named Cody and he was nice at first but then quickly became extremely rude he said they are sold out of phones since millions of people ordered them and he doesn't know what to tell me. I pre ordered at 4:48am on Friday. I hate Verizon but I have NEVER had to deal with this much crap to get a new phone. I was ready to bring 4 new lines over but at this point I feel like cancelling my order and just sticking with Big Red. Even if my phone arrives on time Friday this has left a seriously bad taste in my mouth. Terrible first impression of a business and I already know for a fact their actual cell service isn't as good as what I currently have.

Cut him some slack. You're probably the 3,452 caller today who called asking the same question. You're order is fine. I have the same exact thing. In fact, you ordered a minute after me. It's all good.

Worry less, enjoy the awesome craziness going on here more :)
 
Anyone else getting an estimated delivery date through the 1-800 number robo lady?

I got an estimated delivery of the 22nd. (Not trolling)
