How were you able to order at 2:45am EST when preorders didnt even begin until 3am est and TMO was late to the party by like 3 hours.

I am a business customer.. business customer service is open 24/7, and when I called at 2:45am, it was already available for pre-order.

Just got off the phone with customer service I'm a new customer switching from Verizon. My status hasn't changed since Friday just says order placed online. When I called the robo lady says my phone is back ordered. Went to speak to a representative Named Cody and he was nice at first but then quickly became extremely rude he said they are sold out of phones since millions of people ordered them and he doesn't know what to tell me. I pre ordered at 4:48am on Friday. I hate Verizon but I have NEVER had to deal with this much crap to get a new phone. I was ready to bring 4 new lines over but at this point I feel like cancelling my order and just sticking with Big Red. Even if my phone arrives on time Friday this has left a seriously bad taste in my mouth. Terrible first impression of a business and I already know for a fact their actual cell service isn't as good as what I currently have.

What crap are you having to deal with? It's an annoying and well-known issue for us new customers (myself included) and a semi-rude CS rep. Nobody with T-Mobile knows for sure when they're getting their phone...yet. There's nothing to get super upset about.

Still nothing I just have a hold of a dollar in my Amex card . I order Friday at 6:30am . I orders a gold iPhone 6plus . Still no new update account still on backorder. Smh

Yeah, I think I will. I have the new Time Machine, so I already have 802.11ac protocol but it might be nice to have a dedicated wifi just for calling. It's free!

Yea I'll probably get one as well. Is it available for order online?

Sorry that happened bro. I gotta say T-Mobile SERVICE is not too bad. (Obviously Verizon is better). But the way this rep handle d the situation is unacceptble. I understand that they dont know whats going on but to just be flat out rude! Unacceptable we all have jobs and we all get irritated but goodness if I acted like a doucebag at my job I'd be gone.

I was thinking the same, thought I have a FiOS router with the same protocol.

Anyone get a charge TODAY for their iPhone 6+. I am talking about the full amount and not the $1 authorization charge.

Cut him some slack. You're probably the 3,452 caller today who called asking the same question. You're order is fine. I have the same exact thing. In fact, you ordered a minute after me. It's all good.

Worry less, enjoy the awesome craziness going on here more :)

I understand what you're saying and I definitely give the benefit of the doubt. I've worked in a call center before as well as retail and am currently in sales/marketing. Even if he had 4,000 other calls his job is customer service. I even said on the call "I know you have probably been dealing with this issue all weekend." And he continued to be a jerk. Again at this point even if my order is fine this whole situation has left a bad taste in my mouth. First impressions are everything and this impression is telling me to get my money back and stay where I am.

Lmaooooo. This is hilarious. We're tracking flights now?

Funniest post I've read in awhile...

Its all in good fun. Im not hysterical or anything, Ive been there and done that before. It is interesting to follow the flights though.

I was serious about that flight though. UPS is shipping iPhones from China to Anchorage AK and then the go to Louisville KY where UPS's main hub is. From there they fly down to TX to be processed and shipped out.

This is why we dont have tracking or ID numbers yet, we havent been assigned our phones. Everyone says AT&T and VZW have the phones already, they dont. They just have a system (probably Apples system) where they assign the phone from the factory in China. Proof of this is seen in Tracking numbers coming straight from China for both VZW and AT&T customers. They cut the middle man/warehouse and ship straight.

T-Mobile seems to do things a little differently. Either way I fully expect wave 1 devices to be in hand by EOB Friday.

I'm gonna go to a T-Mobile store this weekend to try and get one. For a $25 refundable deposit, why not get a top of the line router?

I was thinking about it, but honestly I am concerned about them making the cell spots a "portable cell-tower" in the future and sharing your internet to other people.

I'll stick with my dual band N router.. Plenty fast enough for me.

For someone who supposedly worked at a call center, are you going to let one person ruin your impression? As you should know, there are times where people have off days, or there are the occasional bad hires that will eventually get weeded out. First impressions are important, but logic should prevail since there are certain instances where the first impression is not always the best way to judge something.

They're not portable cell towers, T-Mobile came out and clarified that since their wording was horrific in implying that they were. They are just T-Mobile branded ASUS Wi-Fi routers that prioritize Wi-Fi calling through QoS. If a user doesn't have your router's Wi-Fi password, they can't use it to improve their service through Wi-Fi calling.

I bolded the part of your message that is crap I have to deal with. I'm a techie. I'm a gamer. I pre order a lot of things because I want them on launch. Me giving my money in advance is to secure a service or product as soon as possible. Otherwise why even bother? If I wanted to wait I would do that and keep money in pocket. I paid a deposit on the phone since I"m switching over so it's not just a $1 charge pending on my account. With Verizon the company I currently subscribe to people pre ordered and immediately knew where they stood. You will receive your shipment on X date. I can't even get that assurance here and it's my first business transaction. Now I call to follow up and I get poor customer service on top of them flip flopping and not even knowing when they will get stock. I also find it hard to believe a company would take pre orders without any idea of inventory. Again I'm a gamer so I have pre ordered Consoles for launch date from various companies and when they reach their inventory limit they cut off the pre orders. Why can't T mobile have done that? It saves a lot of confusion and pandemonium as we have seen on these forums these last few days.
