I spent about an hour and a half (3-4:30) trying to preorder only to finally give up and go back to sleep. When my alarm went off at 6, I checked Apple's site and it was up. I ordered 2 phones and was back to sleep with 8 minutes left on the snooze. If I'd known Apple's site wasn't going to be ready at all, I wouldn't have made the effort at 3. Frustrating but 2 phones are on their way.

I have pre paid and I've called 611 and they claim I can't order the phone until sales department is open yet I see a bunch of you say that have successfully placed an order already.
I tried for almost 2 hours to get through on Apple's site since they screwed up and didn't list it as an option in the App, finally gave up and went back to sleep. Just woke up and placed my order (6+, 64GB, space grey), and it shows delivery Oct 13-20. Bleh.
Got connected to the sales department and get a message saying they're currently close and won't open until 5am pacific time (5 mins)
Of course I go back to bed then wake up too late. "due to high demand your device may not be ready to ship."

I think it says that for every model. And my downpayment was $99 plus tax for an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB.
I was able to pre order mine through the apple site at 2:45 am. Chrome was not working and the store was not up at 2:45 am cst. I tried Internet Explorer and it let me place my pre-order right away. 6+ 128gb space gray set to be here on the 19th.
So no email confirmation (besides the EIP one), but I did get a text that my order is being processed. And to expect a traction number when it ships.
Go friggin figure. I get the woman to agree to let me go to sleep at like 6:10am EST, and she promised to call me when sales opened to help me through the process.

I got my order confirmation email and an order status page, but no indication on shipping estimate. Ordered via T-Mobile website. Think it's worth calling them to ask about the shipping?
