Well if your plus is backordered I can't imagine anyone else is getting one launch day. Even Apple had a 7-10 day wait time for the Plus I wanted when their store finally went up on Friday morning.
Lucky man! I'm one of the ones that got their backorder stamp updated to today. I guess I'll try my luck at the t mobile stores on Friday.
I rolled the dice last year. I was #7 in line at my apple store and the first t-mobile customer. I figured, no problem, I can have whatever I want, right? Wrong. Only had a couple options for t-mobile (4th largest carrier, apparently 4th in apple's priority list.) I walked away with something I didn't want and ended up returning it.
But, who knows! Good luck to you-- just be prepared for disappointment there if a specific 6+ is what you're after. You might get lucky, you might not. But you'll hate the guy in front of you on AT&T who gets what he wants
My pre-auth for 161.59 that has been there since Friday morning fell off last night and the new charge processing for 152.69 showed up yesterday. Hopefully this is the real charge and it means that maybe I'm close to shipping confirmation.

THis s not true. I spoke with a rep yesterday when I heard this due to me wanting to get a refund for the 24.99 that I paid for overnight shipping. He said no one got bumped to overnight and that what you paid for you will get (i.e. paid for ground you get ground etc.)
If I was upgraded, it doesn't say that anywhere. I paid for Ground, I have my tracking number, I guess I'll find out later today what UPS' schedule for delivery is. If it's Friday, I'll let y'all know because that'll mean I was upgraded for sure.

The 800 number sees it and any Tmobile reps I have talked to can see it
Agreed! Everyone relaaaaaaaax. This is a botched pre-order by TMO, but they've said time and time again that A.) orders will ship out on Thursday and B.) you'll be backordered until units are in stock.
It's entirely plausible that units aren't there yet. And it's entirely plausible that once they do arrive, there can be a very short turnaround time between arrival, assigning phone(s) to an order and actually shipping out.
If you've been charged I'd say you're good to have your phone on Friday (if they truly did upgrade all shipping to overnight) or sometime next week, depending on the shipping speed you selected.
That said, this is all wishful thinking on my part lol. Trying to remain positive here so I don't obsess over a damn phone all day again. This old HTC G2 that I've been using for a week now is a struuuuuugle though...I need that 6!!!

I ordered the same phone just 128gb with the updated time stamp today. Hopefully mine ships soon and I receive a tracking number. They charged me for the device yesterday.
Mine's pretty close to yours. I wonder if that was the timestamp when they modified the record?
I still haven't been charged. The $1.00 Auth dropped off entirely.

I've been following this thread for a little while to keep up on everything. I preordered the iPhone 6 64GB space gray on 09/13/2014 at 11:48:23 AM, and used Jump!. The order page says it was backordered on 09/14/2014 at 03:08:47 AM and nothing has changed since. Though under delivery method is UPS ground and there was an estimate date there but soon after it disappeared. Also my card was charged last night. So I don't know what to think. lol
yesterday, i switched 2 lines to tmobile from ATT and purchased jump, one phone being the iPhone space gray 64g
Holy crap, it does say Next Day Air Saver for me too! I didn't even notice...i'm not going to have a case for this thing when it arrives.
