Well, this is weird...

I placed my order for a 64GB silver 6 Plus at 6:34 AM last Friday, and immediately there was a pre-auth on my debit card for $192-something -- basically, the down payment, SIM starter kit, $24.99 for shipping and sales tax). That charge, naturally, disappeared by Monday or so.

I check order status, but as I'm not an existing T-Mobile customer, I don't have access to the "My T-Mobile" thing, so I think the order status is a little less informative. It has the order date, but no mention of ship date or backorder status or anything useful.

That hasn't changed as of this morning, but now there's a new charge on my debit card from T-Mobile. This one, however is for $37 less than the initial pre-auth. I'm trying to figure out the discrepancy, but coming up short. Even if they removed the $24.99 shipping charge, sales tax isn't that high.

Watch... in a month when my order finally ships, it'll be the wrong phone. Hahaha.

I was able to figure out why I was charged less. See my earlier post. Remember, the tax is charged upfront for the full purchase price of the phone. I'll bet you were charged for the device, plus full tax, less sim and shipping.
 
Expect shipping confirmation 9/17 or 9/18?

Well yesterday @TMobileHelp tweeted that customers will receive shipping confirmation tomorrow (which is now today/Wednesday).

Now they're saying this.

Customers should start to receive shipping confirmation on 9/17 or 9/18! *DB
 
I don't want to be too optimistic, but I really don't think T-Mo would charge the card if they weren't going to ship it. Even though the status changed I feel like it is an update to the system and not so dire. We will see how I feel later today though...
 
I got ground shipping I'm not expecting the phone til at least Monday

Everybody that got a shipping confirmation, I believe said that even though they got ground, they got upgraded to overnight shipping. That kinda confirms what was being said in the forums earlier.
 
Like the last season of Lost, T-Mobile has NO idea where their going with this...

Hopefully we are just last on the list for inventory assignment today. That's the hope.

Exactly! I mean, I ordered the 6 in silver/white 16gb, that one doesn't seem to be that popular and I ordered mid-day on the 12th. Hopefully it will still ship soon, don't care about Friday, just soon though.
 
The Backordered time stamp is still the same on both my iPhone 6 order and my iPhone 6 Plus order.

Got charged yesterday for my iPhone 6 (16GB, Gold) but haven't been charged for the iPhone 6 Plus (16GB, Silver).

JUMP customer here. Ordered at around 2 p.m. Friday.

I called cs yesterday & they told me they wouldn't charge just one phone at a time. Even if they were in stock they would wait until both were able to ship.

I'm having a hard time believing that they would charge my the full amount yesterday without having some update on their side.

I've never pre-ordered anything that charged my card in full well in advance of shipment.

I stand by that if you got a real charge yesterday, your device is getting shipping this week.

Has anyone with a 6+ that did overnight shipping got any sort of confirmation OTHER than that their order is still back ordered? I don't have anything other than a back order confirmation and some sort of half-ass confirmation from customer service that I did indeed have one reserved.

I really think if you got charged yesterday or anytime today you are most likely in very good shape to receive your device by Friday.


If you don't have a charge by the end of today I would really start to worry. Anybody canceling already is insane, have some patience.
 
Well looks like my old card is still active (doesn't show it being closed at least so just going to cross my fingers. Also bank doesn't show active charges ... Really sucks.

Robot lady still says back ordered and new customer so details are bad on site.
 
Am I the only one that can't even check my Order Status on my.tmobile.com? I perpetually get a try back in a few minutes error.

I can check the status through the 800 number though.

I paid ground (TMO still says UPS ground), but on The UPS webpage it shows "UPS next Day air saver"

Got my Tracking no this morning for an Iphone 6, Silver, 64GB, no Jump, charged to my bill...
