T-Mobile.com preorder thread

Well, this is weird...

I placed my order for a 64GB silver 6 Plus at 6:34 AM last Friday, and immediately there was a pre-auth on my debit card for $192-something -- basically, the down payment, SIM starter kit, $24.99 for shipping and sales tax). That charge, naturally, disappeared by Monday or so.

I check order status, but as I'm not an existing T-Mobile customer, I don't have access to the "My T-Mobile" thing, so I think the order status is a little less informative. It has the order date, but no mention of ship date or backorder status or anything useful.

That hasn't changed as of this morning, but now there's a new charge on my debit card from T-Mobile. This one, however is for $37 less than the initial pre-auth. I'm trying to figure out the discrepancy, but coming up short. Even if they removed the $24.99 shipping charge, sales tax isn't that high.

Watch... in a month when my order finally ships, it'll be the wrong phone. Hahaha.

So I was charged yesterday and now for the first time my account has a back order time stamp. I'm so confused as I thought when they charge you fully for the device that the phone has been shipped.

Same here--charged yesterday, backordered with the same timestamp. Up until this morning, it had just said "Pending Shipping" and the time of my order.
 
I can only keep lying to myself for so long.

I ordered Space Gray partly because they usually have the most stock! Not the least! I might as well went for gold. :(

Never seen a charge on my account. I ordered iPhone 6+ 16GB on JUMP to get rid of my G3 at 9am on the 12th... Havent seen any other movement since the back order status stamped at 09/13/2014 3am.
 
just checked mine, still no changes or charges. :( backorder date still the same 09/13/2014 at 03:03:15 AM.

Not from what people have said so far. It seems that most who were charged have the new time stamp. Those that already had the backorder time stamp or estimated delivery timestamp have seen no change nor any credit card charge.

Same with me man. It sucks. It looks like we're the ones that are not going to make it in the first round.
 
Good morning. Looks like after a pretty positive afternoon of what we thought was movement yesterday, seems that we are back to square one? Just got caught up on the thread from overnight.
 
The Backordered time stamp is still the same on both my iPhone 6 order and my iPhone 6 Plus order.

Got charged yesterday for my iPhone 6 (16GB, Gold) but haven't been charged for the iPhone 6 Plus (16GB, Silver).

JUMP customer here. Ordered at around 2 p.m. Friday.

We most definitely are. Seems like all the ones who had the backordered stamp updated to today, are not going to be receiving any phones on Friday.
 
I hope you all get it on release day....

I have to say, I just was hoping to get it by mid-October with having ordered last night, maybe me low expectations will let me be surprised!!

64g, iP6 Space Gray (the lady told me she'd been taking all silver orders)

I just need my 4 to not die before I get the new one!
