This I understand. I still won't be surprised if there's a few days wait before the 6+ ship. (I was commenting based on the idea that people who ordered the 6 were starting to get shipping notification… still waiting till Friday to see what actually happens. Either way I'm waiting… really not worth changing directions at this point, especially based on when I placed my order.)

That's the current size of my 5. It's fine. I just back up my photos to my computer and delete them off my phone, I have all my music on my 160 GB iPod Classic.

Is pending shipment or a backordered time stamp better at this point?

I did a JUMP order on the 14th for 64gb 6+ space gray with Next Day shipping. While ordering said it would ship on 19th, but of course changed to backordered as (almost) everyone else's.

Currently still showing backordered with date of 9/15 2:55 am. No charge yet. (I got all excited for a moment to see a charge from T-Mo, but it turned out to be my normally monthly payment.....boooooo!)

I don't believe in the JUMP priority. I quoted someone earlier who ordered my exact phone, No JUMP and his is already shipping and I dont have anything....

Not cool T-Mo, not cool...
 
Sorta freaking out at this point. Really don't want my phone not to arrive until November....

It really depends on the latest theory. I'm kind of of the mind now that they're getting boxes of phones and putting them into other boxes. I think their logistical tracking infrastructure sucks but hopefully the label printer and the guy or gal putting the phone in a different box don't suck.
 
Has anyone thought of getting something else instead of waiting a year for their 6(+) to arrive? I'm trying to resist just cutting bait and getting a LG G3.
 
Just joined, seeing as I've been following all 130+ pages of this thread.

I couldn't get through the jankiness of the site on Friday and couldn't place a pre-order til Sunday. Ordered a 64 silver 6.

Anyone did preorder today? Just wondering if they give you estimated shipping time. I would think it would just say back ordered but doesn't hurt to ask.
 
If my phone arrives Friday it will be a very true and honest surprise to me because even though I was one of the first to order I have no faith at all of getting this phone on launch date. Next Friday at the EARLIEST is my expectation at this point and I'm too tired of this to do anything about it.

I completely understand. I placed an order for a plus within moments of them going live on t-mobile.com and another Jump! Order on Saturday at a store that is supposedly supposed to ship ahead of other orders and I haven't had a a single update, other than the estimated delivery date getting bumped up a few times and then disappearing.

Pre-Auths always drop off after 48+ hours.. depends on the card vendor. Mine tends to keep them for 3-4 days then drops them off. All the $1 was to verify your card was valid..

They were never going to charge you a $1 anyway.

If I don't have a tracking number by tomorrow night, or my estimated delivery date is in October, I'm going down to the t mobile retail store to get my phone.
 
In my EIP, it shows the IMEI of the iPhone 6 and the shipping is updated when I put the order # in
