Has anyone thought of getting something else instead of waiting a year for their 6(+) to arrive? I'm trying to resist just cutting bait and getting a LG G3.

Nope, I think if this all stays like this going into tomorrow night I may cut bait and switch on TMo but not from the iPhone.

I had VZW before and I liked it, I liked the idea of saving a few bucks with TMo and then I really liked the international coverage - though the speed was pretty weak, next time I'm abroad I'm going to just purchase a pre paid LTE sim (I think it was 45 euro or something form Vodaphone)

I had an AT&T iPad for a bit and really liked their LTE speed as well.

I dig the TMo CEO's marketing appearance and kind of became of fan of what they're trying to do. Esp. the fact that iTunes radio doesn't count for data. If only they could deliver on the basic stuff that cell phone companies do - like phones and a stronger cell signal (I lose service in really random places).

My shipping detail (6+/64/SG/7:45am PST) also went from pending shipping to backorder at 3:18am. Pre-auth also dropped off. Seems like a bunch of us went to the new backordered status right around 3:15am...

So I ordered my iPhone 6 plus 16gb in space grey on the 12th of September. The in-store rep added jump to my account, and offered ups expedited next day shipping, i took it. As of today my T-Mobile account still shows a back order and no estimated delivery. I spoke to a customer service rep when I got the back order text, and assured me that if I had the next day shipping I would get it on launch day. I'm just still worried because I still don't have a shipment ETA. Can anyone give me any good guesses that I'll get it Friday?

They still say that backordered is just the preorder status so not super worried about that.

Will just try and stay away from here for a bit and not worry about it.
Maybe at work today the pebble will go off with some shipping details and I will do a little dance.

That's how I feel. I love what T-Mobile is doing but things like shipping phones and giving shipping estimates are things that my previous carrier (AT&T) never let me down on.

I am a Jump order.

I hope I will get it this weekend, but I am not holding my breath.

Agreed with all of the above, been with them for almost a year and I like the way they do business so far. The way they go about billing and features of the service, doing things like the free router, really gives off the vibe that they want your business and they don't take it for granted that you're going to stay. I guess that comes from them being the smallest carrier, who knows how that'll change if they ever get a bigger market share.

Like you I just really wish coverage was better, both cell signal and data. I hated AT&T and I spent more money, but at least I had 4G almost wherever I went (and I live way out from the city).

Just looked at my tracking info! :D

My backorder date was moved up to 09/17/2014 at 03:17:08 AM. Wonder what that means. Maybe nothing. Maybe everything.

Here's a new wrinkle and I don't know if it's related or not, but my bill went down by $30 for some strange reason. I poked around our account and didn't see any bill credits or anything. When I think about it, I paid for the $14.99 shipping for 2 iPhone 6 orders. Technically, it's $30 in shipping which makes sense to the $30 credit on our bill that I can't find just yet.

This goes back to Tmo possibly upgrading everyone to overnight shipping, which would make sense as to why my bill is now $30 lighter.

Can anyone else confirm this that paid for extra shipping?

Don't do that. It's a terrible phone. It sits down and overheats

I have an LG G3 and it's a wonderful phone. A friend of mine got one with Verizon and it had some overheating issues, exchanged it and got another great phone like mine.

Huge gorgeous screen, amazing battery life. I have two lines and my iPhone is going on the other line, and I'm keeping the G3.

omg *__* my ups page hasn't updated yet! Still says 'a label has been created, we'll let you know when it leaves the facility', etc. If I get it on Friday I'm going to freak out, I've always preordered but my stuff was always backordered at launch so I've never actually gotten a device on launch day. Still not expecting to haha.

I must have miss the word from the executive. So if this is true then how do I go about getting a refund if the reps can't confirm it? It's not like the will willfully wave a fee if there is no proof. I need some help, someone provide me with some proof/ firepower so I can get my 25 bucks back lol

TMO also tweeted, I believe, that all orders were being sent out overnight. They may be doing that automatically. Some charges seem to be going through for less than when order was originally placed.

Problem

I am coming back from 4 years at Big Red, before that I was 10 years at T-mobile. I ordered on Saturday morning and TODAY I get a call from T-mobile saying for some unknown reason my order was canceled. I had to redo the order and now my ship date on my 6+ and 6 both 64gb is October 24.

I am regretting the switch. Literally the rep had no explanation but said others were canceled as well.

for what it is worth, I just called an actual rep and was told that the space gray 64gb is on back order for upgrades, not for new customers.

Bad news is that they can't change the ground shipping so it would be "no later than wednesday of next week" before I get mine. I preordered yesterday the 16th. Though he did say "once it is actually released we will do everything we can to get you faster shipping".

so while the shipping part was a little hazy, he assured me that being a new customer and signing up for Jump that my shipment processing status was correct and I will get a friday released device.

New customer here and backordered... but we will see tonight.

Sliver 64GB 6, the 6+ is too big for me to carry.

Bought it outright online at the apple store.

Ohhh. Because this is a thread for people who ordered from T-Mobile.com (see the thread title).

You confused those of us who ordered from T-Mobile.com into thinking T-Mobile.com orders had started shipping!
