Did they give you any reason as to why?

John needs to set up another Uncarrier event soon just to explain all of this nonsense.

I'm definitely not sharpening my pitchforks by any means, but there's definitely something to the fact that paying customers are hunting through lines of CSS for even a plausible hint as to their expected shipping/delivery date.

Let's chalk this up to a big learning experience.

My experience so far and status

Stats:

New customer
Phones: iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey & iPhone 6+ 64GB Gold
Ordered: 9/12 (First day) at 11:04am PDT
Charged: Originally charged 387.00 flat. Then that charged dropped off leading to two separate charges of 184.36 and 167.61 last night.
Shipping: UPS Expedited
Status: Backordered

The process wasn't all that bad I tried to complete the order online I got a error that the order did not process and to call T-mobile. So I did they resubmitted my order and that was it took me about 15min. All CS reps were really nice and calm.

Have been lurking so I decided to post. I don't really mind when I get the phone just as long as I have some idea when I will eventually receive them.

I can confirm I was told this too by the T-Mobile reps at the store here(Delaware). Stores won't have the 6+ on launch day and I think it's true. The reps who are stating that they will have the 6+ probably don't know there's a difference between the 6 & the 6+, as huge as the difference is.
Store in Utah stated that they would have only 20 6+

@Tmobilehelp on Twitter is announcing and telling customers that shipping confirmations will be rolling out today, some might be tomorrow.

Nice, that's good news I guess. Most likely because a lot more planes landed yesterday and a few that landed yesterday (from what I can tell) have already been back to China overnight and are now bringing new phones back to the States.

Why were they cancelled?

The EIP's I signed and confirmed they received apparently got stuck in "No Mans Land" in their system and they didn't get processed within the 48 hours window before the system cancelled the order..

So my status hasn't changed, but I just managed to get a CellSpot ordered which is cool.

I went to a store and my account was broken, so the rep on the phone decided to send me one for free with overnight shipping. Free doesn't matter a whole lot when the device only costs $25 though, so anyone thinking of getting one should snatch one up ASAP.

Now I can look forward to getting a CellSpot and the 6+

Here's where I am, by looking at the second link posted earlier, now I'm really confused. Is everyone's saying this?

This. It's so stealth back-end edits to information prior to a formal announcement aren't relayed to an end user. That being said, this is an amateur job of doing so.

Especially putting the 3:17 AM back order update today inside a div with a class of:

"history_details_dummy"

It's full of crap!

I am coming back from 4 years at Big Red, before that I was 10 years at T-mobile. I ordered on Saturday morning and TODAY I get a call from T-mobile saying for some unknown reason my order was canceled. I had to redo the order and now my ship date on my 6+ and 6 both 64gb is October 24.

I am regretting the switch. Literally the rep had no explanation but said others were canceled as well.

I feel your pain. I had two cancelled orders and ended up getting an order placed Saturday morning. The rep on Sat said it will probably be a week before I get my phone. Not as bad as 10/24, but I can relate to your frustration.

On the flip side, I'm sure T-Mo had to make a decision on whether to spend their money on improving their network or improving the technology/website for ordering phones and changing plans. I will gladly wait a week for a phone if they are going to improve their network which they have indicated they are in the process of doing by the end of the year.

That's what mine says.

For whatever reason mine doesnt show on that second link. I can access it through the Alerts box and the robot woman, but not through there.

I also never got my backorder date changes if that means anything.. I also have the payment on my CC
