Just got the text from T-Mobile stating I should receive my iphone 6 on Friday and they would be sending me a tracking number later on.

I just got the exact same text message for the exact same device. Mine was ordered about 9 hours later though
 
I'm pretty jealous my wife gets her iphone 6 tomorrow and mine no where to be seen. I got the gold 6+ by the way. Same order. Got text. Just waiting on charge and shipment.
 
Proof, I ordered 6 day ground shipping and received this message.

Tmobile is driving me nuts! First my orders were "cancelled" now I get a text saying congrats you should receive your iPhone 6 plus Friday. I ordered 3 phones one on Friday 16 gig gold 6 via regular upgrade and 2 6 pluses 64gig space grey via jump on Saturday morning. I've gotten 2 messages one for the 6 and now 1 for the plus but I don't know if that is for both plus phones or just one of them. Not sure don't care, still no tracking number and my tmo website still shows no shipping or delivery date and still shows back ordered. Frustration is an understatement at this point. Hope we all get our phones in a timely fashion
 
I just got the text saying I should have my iPhone on Friday. I ordered an iPhone 6 64GB space gray just before 6PM MST on the 12th.
 
How come no one mentioned order status changes from BACKORDER to PRE-ORDER after you get the text? or did I miss that
 
I ordered my 64GB Gold iPhone 6 via phone at around 7:30AM ET. At some point earlier today it said that I ordered it at 3:17AM today, but it still said backordered. Now it says pre-ordered instead. I don't have shipping info or estimated delivery. Nor have I received a text or email saying "YAY YOU'RE IN!". I'm in NYC, not on JUMP, and I chose UPS ground shipping.

i also got the text of receiving the device on friday despite i already had shipping label created from ups... also my status changed on t-mobile.com went from BackOrder to Pre-Order.. whatever that means

I just got the same text. Iphone 6 space grey 64gb. Ordered in store around 7pm 9/12. Pending charges on card. Funny because I choose ground shipping because it was expected in "October" according to the rep. I'm leaving out of town for the weekend friday morning ha!
 
So if theyre upgrading shipping for everyone, I guess opting for the 24.99 expedited next day was useless? I hope i don't get charged that.. it wouldnt be very fair lol
 
Just got my text saying I should be getting my iPhones on Friday. A heads up...if you ordered your iPhones on Friday & weren't offered a chance at any other shipping besides ground, it's because you didn't need it. I hope that makes some of you happy because I'm ****ing jacked right now
 
Hi guys,

I had to sign up to the forums just to tell of my call I just had with T-Mobile.

Call there phone centre to simply ask when my phone shall be delivered, was receiving the same message as everyone else here. "Back-Ordered". My card was charged yesterday.

I get through to a lady, who literally didn't have a clue what she was doing. Ask to be transferred to the manager. She comes onto the phone, 1 HOUR LATER!!!!! She informs me that I will probably not be getting the phone since they are all on a back order of 4-6 weeks. I inform here that I entered my cell phone number into UPS Tracking and shows that ready to pick up, she did not understand. She continues on to tell me that not even there stores will have the iPhone, to which I know is bull... since I called a store today and they informed me that they will have 20 iPhone 6 in.

I tell her this, she completely changes her story... So to sum it up these people don't have a clue what is going on internally. She did not care that I had spent more money and time to get the Phone to myself sooner.


Oh and as i hung up I receive this text message:

Great News! You should receive your iPhone 6 on friday, We'll send you another message with your tracking number once it ships.

Most confident rep I've spoken with yet tells me that yes, Jump customers always take priority over everyone else. May likely be the reason why my order has been placed in "backorder", but still shows the date of 9/12.

Not good. Still holding out for something tomorrow.. if not, I'm taking my 5 lines back to AT&T, who didn't have this issue for business customers.
 
Ok, now I'm pissed. Placed an order for a 6+ 64gb gray upgrade @ 7:45am EST on 9/12. Got the order confirmation later that day and thought I was good to go. Never had an estimated delivery date, but I assumed I was early enough that it didn't matter. The rep on the phone said I would definitely get mine early next week. Now, I get the dreaded email and text saying I'll know more in 1 or 2 days. Still no delivery date and no charge. Called TMO tonight and the rep said it could be four weeks. WTF!!! I see guys on here who ordered much later than me getting their 6+ on Friday. I hate an unfair system like this, it really pushes my buttons. TMobile needs to get out front here and explain the situation and the process or they're going to have a real PR mess on their hands. I'm going to contact one of my friends in media and see if this warrants a story. The more pressure TMO feels the more they'll be forced to explain what's going on. Be transparent, that's all I ask.
