I got the text notice here too, ordered at 6:01 pst on the 12th, no JUMP. Went with a iPhone 6 space grey, 128gb. No change on the order page though, still says backordered, and they changed the date from the 12th to 17th, so have no record of the original order, short of maybe a screenshot or something.

My theory is that mostly 6+ people got the text messages. I ordered about 10 CDT on Monday and have seen little movement on my order until I got a text and email tonight.

I do suspect the 64G versions phone is going to turn out to be the most popular next to the 16G versions. The $99 down payment and EIP is a sweet deal. So I think that is where there might be a short fall if any for the sat/sun orders.

My guess is everyone who ordered 6/16g from Friday to Sunday gets the phone on Friday. All 6/64G/128G and 6+/64G/128G will be shipped but there is likely be a short fall especially for non-Jump customers. I'd also bet everyone who ordered Friday between 12:01am and noon will get a phone but after that it's just what is remaining in stock.

If you got a text, email, had a CC charged, or have a UPS label in the last 48 hours I think you are good. My predictions include new customers as we'll and jump and non jump customers.

Everyone else I think it is going to hit/miss as stock is monitored and allocated. I do think that T-Mobile is trying to ship as best as possible. Keep in mind this is the biggest launch ever and no one expected it. Best they could measure against was the previous preorder weekend which was only 1 million phones. This time it was 4 million and no one, not even Apple seems to expect 4 million preorders even account for people orders 2 or whatever that they did to make sure they got a phone. Those same people do that anyway so that's not a factor in the over all load.

I'm sorry but there is simply NO WAY that Apple or T-Mobile were naïve enough to believe that this wasn't going to be the HUGEST phone launch of the past three years. The word "iPhone" itself is enough to generate 1-2 million preorders not to mention finally adding the three biggest consumer demanded features (larger screen, NFC, 128GB) there was absolutely no doubt there was going to be spectacular demand.

ATT, Sprint, and Verizon's pre-order process went off without any major hitches. The Apple site experienced overload as was expected, but T-Mobile? T-Mobile's site didn't even allow pre-orders until around 9am, leaving most customers on hour- two hour wait times calling customer service. JUMP customers couldn't even pre-order until THE NEXT DAY, leaving T-Mobile to come up with perhaps the biggest ass-covering maneuver in recent memory with the "Jump Priority" mumbo jumbo....

T-Mobile messed up plain and simple on this one

just got my "congrats/friday" text lol, like 22hours after it actually shipped. They'll send me tracking info when it ships! Thanks tmobes!

Do you giys think it's by region? I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Anyone here from Utah get the friday text? Only one I got was saying 1-2 to days for me to get a delivery update text.

Are you sure it was a charge and not a pre-authorization?
What you are describing happened to me but they wert both pre-authorizations and not charges.

Well I had a $1 charge over the weekend, then a pending charge of $266.45 on Monday...which is what the order stated I owed up front...(First installment of phone, t-mobile starter kit, overnight shipping).

Both charges are listed as pending...but what would the $243 be for? Since I only ordered 1 phone?

Ok, now I'm pissed. Placed an order for a 6+ 64gb gray upgrade @ 7:45am EST on 9/12. Got the order confirmation later that day and thought I was good to go. Never had an estimated delivery date, but I assumed I was early enough that it didn't matter. The rep on the phone said I would definitely get mine early next week. Now, I get the dreaded email and text saying I'll know more in 1 or 2 days. Still no delivery date and no charge. Called TMO tonight and the rep said it could be four weeks. WTF!!! I see guys on here who ordered much later than me getting their 6+ on Friday. I hate an unfair system like this, it really pushes my buttons. TMobile needs to get out front here and explain the situation and the process or they're going to have a real PR mess on their hands. I'm going to contact one of my friends in media and see if this warrants a story. The more pressure TMO feels the more they'll be forced to explain what's going on. Be transparent, that's all I ask.

I ordered mine at a retail store at 9:30am EST, got my EIP signed before 10am EST, and I'm in the same situation as you. Oh, and i opted for next day shipping (24.99) what a waste..

I am so mad at John Legere personally. I'm glad I have God on my side...

T-Mobile canceled my orders and lied about it!

Got up at 2:45 am (ET) to preorder 2 iPhones. T-mobile site, as you all know, didn't even have an iPhone 6 orders until after CS lined opened at 6 am (ET) and someone realized they had f-ed up and not flipped the order switch.

My order went through at 7:10am (ET) -- 4:10 Pacific -- for two iPhones.

Today I get a text and email saying my order was cancelled because the payment was declined.

I called the bank, and the bank manager investigated. It turns out that T-Mobile lied to me. The charge was never declined. They are inept and immoral. John Legere talks crap about the other carries, but his company shi*t their pants on this preorder. I was switching 4 lines from Verizon for this order. I am not going to do it at this point.

TLDR: Short TMUS Stock

anyone's order status online that recivied the Friday text change from backorder to preorder?

Got the text at 9:45pm I'll get it Friday. Ordered gold 6+ 64gb eip at 1:34pm on 9/12. Was charged yesterday, no shipping info yet. One step closer:apple:

I think that T-Mobile is going to discover that lying is expensive.

It speaks to the terrible mishandling of this whole preorder that I got my text that says I will receive Friday and still don't believe it

From Friday delivery to "who knows when" delivery. Why the hell did I get up at 2:45 in the morning refreshing T-Mobile's page like a lunatic until I finally got though after 6AM, spent hour after hour in T-Mobile stores setting up my (resistant to change) family's 3 other lines, hour after hour porting #s from Verizon... only to get demoted? I'm so upset.
