I don't know but it's pissing me off and it's silly that I'm getting agitated but when I started seeing all this traffic on the forum and got a text telling me I'd get it 9/22 to 9/30 I just got insta-pissed, not quite nerd rage but a real case of "what the F, for real?, really?"

At least you're better off than the rest of us who ordered Friday morning and got the "hey, we'll let you know sometime, okay?" text/email and those who have gotten no notifications at all :)
 
Why are people who pre-ordered so much later than those who actually woke up early, or went to the store early getting their shipment notifications right away, but those who did order early aren't? It all seems backwards lol

I ordered Saturday morning on phone and just got the 'arriving September 22-30' email too. I honestly wanted my phone to come mid-October so I wouldn't have to deal with etf reimbursement.

T-Mobile sure is handling this pre-order in the most puzzling fashion
 
New customer, signed up for JUMP, ordered a silver 6 64gb. Order placed 9/12 5:32am PDT, current order status: Order Placed.

No communication, no charges, new authorization yesterday.

Just got the Sept 22nd-30th email. Pretty ********** pissed at this point. I literally didn't sleep on preorder night, worked my ass off to get that preorder in, now it's not coming till next week, MAYBE?! The next time someone sarcastically says "ohh poor you, first world problems!", I'm going to gouge their ********** eyes out.

guys what format do you type in the phone number in the ups tracking? Also, i ordered my iphone 6 plus at 7am est on the 12th and paid expedited shipping but mine still says backordered. Last, im guessing most people whos phones shipped are 6's and not 6 plus's if im not mistaken

I don't think JUMP pre-orders were ever given priority, because the majority of people who have been receiving their shipping information and text notifications didn't even have JUMP
 
Status changed: Backordered to Pre Ordered

Status update: My order status has been updated from back ordered to pre ordered.

Same here, 6+ 64GB, Space Grey, ordered in a corporate store at 9:38 AM EST on 9/12 after fighting the system all night and morning. Went ahead and paid full price for it up front and selected Overnight Shipping for $25. My date switched to 9/17 @ 3:18:08 AM this morning with the Backordered status and within the last hour or so it just switched to Pre-Order. I got the 9/22-9/30 email around 6:30 PM EST tonight and started thinking of John Legere laughing like a jerk.

got the text and email but my status still hasn't changed to preordered online and My Choice hasn't seen anything yet, likely happening gradually. for the record i did use JUMP! so some are getting in. if we ARE getting upgraded to one day shipping it should be fine to ship tomorrow so i'm not worried.

I think we're all in the same boat and I feel annoyed for everyone going through this...

This is supposed to be a fun geeky thing to kind of enjoy the anticipation.

I remember doing the iPhone 5, trying to reserve it every night at 10pm, it was a blast and when I finally got it I barely slept, I couldn't wait to get the text that my order was ready for pickup (it happened before they even opened!). As you can image I was there when they opened and it was just kind of super cool and fun. Everyone was on the same page with that.

This whole thing is the opposite of super cool and fun, it's annoyingly full of mis-information, BS customer service people, contradicting tweets and a TON of wasted time and energy.

Nothing about it has been fun since this thread (and the other thread) before 3AM ET 9/12/2014.
