I had to place 2 orders because of the faulty system, 1st order non jump 6+64gb on friday soon as store opened around 9 am(This is the one I'm seeing movement on). Second order JUMP 6+64gb sunday at 4pm (haven't heard anything on this order)
So i'm getting the Space Gray 6 Plus but I've decided against it & couldn't switch after placing the order. Do you think T-Mobile will let me exchange it for a silver one, if available?

not to spoiled everyones happiness on those who have shipping label from ups.. i just hope my iphone doesnt come defective.. that would be the worse after this horrific pre-order experience hoping for the best here...
My situation is very similar except I have been charged. No email or tracking. I ordered 4:31 a.m. On 9/12. This is very frustrating.
I got my text today saying I "should" be receiving my phone Friday.
128 GB slate 6+. Card was charged for the first time this afternoon. No tracking info yet.
Interestingly, I just checked the my tmobile page a minute ago and my status had changed from "backordered" to "pre-ordered". Reloaded the page a minute later and it was back to backordered. Huh. Hope that doesn't mean anything in particular.

Here's my story...
Went into a t mobile store on Friday at 1pm PST to preorder after failing online all night, then having to work at 6am. They had to switch my prepaid to an actual account to get the preorder started. I ordered a 64gb 6 space grey and paid for ground shipping(also added jump). Signed my eip within 20 minutes after. My status has been "back ordered" since then. My cc was charged the full amount on monday and has not changed since. I finally called a tmobile rep today after seeing everyone get texts and emails and was told there was no chance i would get it on friday. I just got a text 10 min ago saying i should get it friday! No ups tracking info... I really don't know what to believe!

Why are people who pre-ordered so much later than those who actually woke up early, or went to the store early getting their shipment notifications right away, but those who did order early aren't? It all seems backwards lol
guys what format do you type in the phone number in the ups tracking? Also, i ordered my iphone 6 plus at 7am est on the 12th and paid expedited shipping but mine still says backordered. Last, im guessing most people whos phones shipped are 6's and not 6 plus's if im not mistaken
I don't know but it's pissing me off and it's silly that I'm getting agitated but when I started seeing all this traffic on the forum and got a text telling me I'd get it 9/22 to 9/30 I just got insta-pissed, not quite nerd rage but a real case of "what the F, for real?, really?"
Yes, I did. I got a text saying it'll arrive this Friday about 6PM EST. I also just got an email around 9:55PM saying it'll arrive this Friday.
Most likely meaning a phone is reserved for you and is shipping out in the 1st batch. Mine just switched to Preorder as well.
"Thank you for your iPhone 6 pre-order. Great news you should receive your device on Friday. We will send another notification once your device ships, which will include tracking information. We are extremely excited about the iPhone 6, and wanted to make sure you are up-to-date on the status of your order."
