Did you have another text beforehand? or was this the first text notification you got from them?
This is my third message from them.

*Ordered Friday non-JUMP around 8am, iPhone 6

Can people please specify (either in your text or signature) what you ordered and some context too? :D It's helpful in comparing/knowing where we are.

That just makes it worse. Then people compare and either think they found a pattern or just go WTF.

Why are people who pre-ordered so much later than those who actually woke up early, or went to the store early getting their shipment notifications right away, but those who did order early aren't? It all seems backwards lol

yup but the only one to blame is T-Mobile. it really sucks, I'm happy for everyone who is getting good news, hoping the rest of us get some too!

I don't know but it's pissing me off and it's silly that I'm getting agitated but when I started seeing all this traffic on the forum and got a text telling me I'd get it 9/22 to 9/30 I just got insta-pissed, not quite nerd rage but a real case of "what the F, for real?, really?"

Ever thought that the model you ordered is popular and may be delayed…

If person A ordered x model after you and inventory available was higher at the time, they will indeed receive their order first.

Tmobile only receives x stock of each model after all.

Simple case of differences in inventory per model, size, and color.

Just got my "great news you're getting it on Friday" email now.

I ordered in person at the store in downtown San Francisco at about 6pm PST on Friday 9/12. It was a JUMP upgrade.

iphone 6 64gb space grey

I haven't received any texts or other communication beyond the EIP agreement before this email and still don't have a shipping number. I was never charged a $1 hold but was charged in the full amount yesterday.

Hope this helps as a point of reference for others but this does seem to not be a science to say the least...

Yeah i'm definitely convinced now that if you pre-ordered with JUMP, you were never given priority and those who hadn't did. Because the majority of people who didn't have already received their friday notices..

Even though I waited up all night and dealt with the Apple Store and T Mobile website disasters. Looks like I will have to still get in line at the Apple Store tomorrow night to get the 6+. Even though I ordered at 545am PST on the 12th.

The big back order on the top of my order page with the pink check is gone now it says pre order now.

The whole "after me" part doesn't make sense.

Their site originally said first come, first serve. So I stayed up until 3am (I know that was my choice to do so but I couldn't sleep).

After trying unsuccessfully for hours to order from their site I bit the bullet and stayed up until 6AM and called 611 and ordered.

So the after me, if someone got to sleep or just wanted to give it a shot in the afternoon or the weekend and have some fun with it and they get it before I sat and refreshed for hours and was exhausted all day then the 'after me' part really doesn't register with me.

I GOT THE EMAIL TOO! I'm overjoyed, but still feeling the pain for those of you who haven't received your info yet.
I still have faith that we'll continue receiving info throughout the night and tomorrow, isn't T-Mo in PST? It's only 7:45 in this time zone, so i'm keeping hope that you guys are gonna get your info too.

LOL. There is nothing simple about the last few days.

How so? Apple stated that the release date of the iPhone is Sept 19th. However, this doesn’t mean that anyone else is obligated or guarantees that the customer would receive it by this date.

The only company who can ensure the guarantee this date is Apple, as they clearly control the stock.
