That whole jump customers getting theirs first is complete BS, i don't have jump and didn't use Jump and my phone arrives on the 19th. first come first serve.
 
I just called customer service at t mobile, lady i spoke to told me that everyone in their system has the backordered status until they can get them sorted them out and shipped, she said status should change within the next days. Not sure if it's accurate.

I did the same thing and that's what they told me.

I wouldnt be so confident you will be getting yours on the 19th. The rep I talked to today said JUMP orders are going to be bumped ahead of all others through tomorrow night.
 
I heard that Costco is going to have all the models on the 19th so if I don't get a shipping confirmation, I'll just get it from there I guess.

I'm just letting you know what i was told by the sales department NOT customer service, called and speak to the sales department they're the only ones who can really answer questions. its no big deal. i have a delivery date of the 19th, my card has already been charged for the FULL amount. not just the $1 hold like some people. i hope everyone gets their phone on the 19th jump and no jump subscribers.
 
T-Mobile vs Unlocked

Previous ATT iPhones (up to 5) were not fully compatible when unlocked.

In reverse, are the T-Mobile phones different from (yet to be released) unlocked 6/6+ from Apple store direct - as in an unlocked previous editions of iPhone from Apple store could be used anywhere in the world.

So, will the T-Mobile 6 series I order now, vs wait 3-4 months for the "real unlocked" iPhone from Apple, be the same?

Universal compatibility, unlocked from day one (contracts should be enforced in ways different from the "locking of a phone") of a phone from any brand should be the norm, with the recent changes in law!
 
Utahman130: Right in the middle I'm assuming. From my experience it goes..order pending, placed, processed, and finally order shipped. Mine was at processed and did a 360 to Backordered!
 
I preordered a gray 16GB 4.7" at around 5am PST over the phone and I'm seeing this (with no estimated ship date):

Just wondering if that's normal for everyone else that got in orders around that time, and wondering if it's still going to ship relatively soon or not?

I still can't see the status of my order online, says the systems are unavailable. When I call it says backordered.
 
So I called to check on delivery date. I ordered yesterday at 6am PST over the phone. Full payment taken out already and the automated phone system says del the 19th. Well the lady tells me that the delivery date may change and I may get it up to a week later because their systems are prioritizing JUMP shipping placed yesterday and up until this afternoon.What load of **** that is.
 
I pre-ordered a 6+ an hour ago and used Jump w/next day delivery. The order status page says "being processed" with a delivery date of 9-20.
