Right now, my status is at "processing". Below that, under history, it says "Pending Shipment.", but doesn't have an estimated ship date. Is "processing" the furthest you can get to until your phone is shipped? TIA

I don't get why we have to pay extra for faster shipping to have it delivered sooner doesn't make sense. I was under the impression regardless of what shipping speed you paid for you would get it by the. 19th if you ordered soon enough.
If I would have known this from the beginning I would have paid for next day delivery.

I have a pending authorization on my card for both the $1 and the full amount of the order. I'm a new customer and the order page just says order placed. If I call the phone number it says backorder. I thought charges on the card suppose to come when the phone ships, no?

So confused...

did you use a debit card ?

I ordered in store and used a debit card and they only took my card number and attached it to the order. There was no preauthorization charge. They said it will be charged when the order ships. I did EIP.

Previous ATT iPhones (up to 5) were not fully compatible when unlocked.

In reverse, are the T-Mobile phones different from (yet to be released) unlocked 6/6+ from Apple store direct - as in an unlocked previous editions of iPhone from Apple store could be used anywhere in the world.

So, will the T-Mobile 6 series I order now, vs wait 3-4 months for the "real unlocked" iPhone from Apple, be the same?

Universal compatibility, unlocked from day one (contracts should be enforced in ways different from the "locking of a phone") of a phone from any brand should be the norm, with the recent changes in law!

Your question is confusing and doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'll keep it simple. T-Mobile iPhones sold at the Apple Store or Apple online are and always have been unlocked. iPhones sold by T-Mobile are sold locked.

I order on the 12th in store at 9.45 eastern. I haven't gotten no shipping eta or dates. Just order processed then back order. I don't understand how people who order hours after come are getting eta's.... So frustrated

Jump or regular handset upgrade?

Bought it outright.

My estimated delivery moved from 9/20 to 9/21 as well.

I'm ordered using Jump at 2 p.m. on 09/12 after trying basically nonstop all day.

All of this said, I'm gonna wait until Tuesday to start freaking out. Give them a full business day to sort it out.

Interesting set of events... I was able to make a telephone regular preorder on 9/12 8:30AM, just got an email and a text message saying it's backordered. Then, I performed a JUMP! in the store today at 2PM and got an email a few hours later and also a text message, both giving an estimated delivery of 9/17.

Both of mine are back ordered as well. I thought everyone showed as back ordered?

Yes, but yours says 9/20 or 9/21 mine doesn't have a date at all

Does anyone know how the credit card charge process works? If you see full amount preauthorized what does it mean?
